Spike is an orphan who's hated and ostracized for being different. Fed up with the people of his home, Spike decides to leave in order to find a place where he's accepted. However, the day before he's set to leave, Spike comes across a certain lonely girl who will change his destiny forever.

Travel back 10 years from the start of Rise of the Elements and experience the very beginning of Spike's adventures with Twilight and the others. Discover the truth of Spike's origins as he struggles to understand what having a family really means.

Spike was filled with doubts, confusion and fear on where he fitted in the world. It scared him to think that he was nothing to his friends, to Twilight. After finding out the hard truth in an argument, he realises that this bond he shared with them was nothing but a mere illusion, a painful lie that shattered him completely. Becoming lost in his own misery, he runs away only to be taken by an offer.

A few months pass and struggling to manage, Twilight comes to terms with her mistakes and the search for Spike dies down. Seeking vengeance, past threats are united through fear by a demented alchemist who wishes to twist and ruin Equestria with the power of terror.

In a desperate attempt to try and find Spike once more, Twilight and her friends must overcome their greatest fears.

With his dragon nature and friends to help him in the tournament Spike will face the best fighters which Equestria has too offer. Now it's time for him to face not only his opponent in the cage but also the deepest feelings his friends have for him. Will he win the greatest fight this dragon aims or will he succrub to the most fearsome and bizzare warriors the world of mix creatures have in store for him. Antro characters. Spike has been the loyal protector of Twilight, through pen and blade, but when she sends him on a mission too dangerous even for him, he returns missing an arm. Twilight must come to realize what she truly feels for her dragon.

Twilight and Spike, siblings in all but blood, go adventuring together in Canterlot. They don't find what they are looking for, but they stumble onto something better.

Written in a universe where Spike acts more mature, and Twilight is slightly more adventurous. Both are young adults, though Spike is still considered a juvenile because 'dragon years'.

On the anniversary of her sister's banishment, Celestia comes across a lost dragon egg during her traditional walk that day. Desperate for some form of companionship, she decides to hatch it herself

However, she didn't quite take into account the effect the amount of alicorn magic she used would have on the egg's contents.
