This story is a sequel to An Oral History of the Rise of the New Lunar Republic

When history books chronicle wars, individual names and faces are often lost in the translation. This is especially true for the War of Solar Resurgence, that brief, brutal, and bitter struggle that claimed so many lives.

On this, the one hundredth anniversary of the war's end, it is our sincerest hope that this collection of letters helps readers to connect with those who were there for that awful conflict.

It has been fifteen years since the Battle of the Bell, that terrible day when friendship failed and the forces of evil were triumphant. The conquerors of Equestria carved the land into three and settled into their rule, comfortable in the knowledge that nopony would ever be able to stand against them again.

In her home, a manor-house she calls Story's End, the Empress Cozy Glow receives an unexpected visit from a most expected visitor. It's a night she has long anticipated; the absolute final victory over the forces of light and love. After all, what has she to fear?

How much of a threat could an exiled princess from the far north possibly pose?

Fate however has a way of changing your perspective on events, and little stones can soon become landslides, the consequences of the smallest actions having the furthest reaching repercussions.
As an Arctic Wolf, it is his duty to help safeguard the growing empire of Equestria from all threats, be they Diamond Dogs, Minotaur's or anything else that threatens his kin. All threats must fall before the Arctic Wolves. No exceptions
