In a thrilling fan fiction, a top-secret WW1 special forces squad known as The Shadow Sentinels finds themselves mysteriously transported to the magical land of Equestria, where they encounter colorful ponies led by Twilight Sparkle. Tensions run high as the Sentinels must confront their new equine allies, demanding answers and trust. With the fate of both worlds at stake, an uneasy truce is formed, and the two groups must work together to uncover the secrets behind their unexpected convergence. Amidst the cultural clashes, they must also face a looming threat from an unknown adversary in a world they could never have imagined.

This is my first story I have written and posted online and the first four chapters where written only for myself hence why they are so short but a friend convinced me to publish the story, and instead of rewritting 4 chapters I just combined them in two stories.

Inspired by 'Shouldnt have enslaved humanity', written by NoobMaster69, as well as a Hearts of Iron 4 mod called 'Beyond Earth'.

Humanity is surprising in many ways. When most expected it to die out from infighting and chaos, it somehow survived, and now, it thrives. Global conflicts, economic and ecological disasters, near-extinction level events and collapses, all of them overcome, all thanks to the undying spirit and will of Humanity. When ponyville and soon after, the entirety of Equestria is attacked by alien beings from a mysterious red planet, the Mane 6 and other small groups of survivors must survive as long as they can from the Tripod machines that the martians use to take over. Will they survive and come out on top on their own or will they need to call a certain society for help?

Traveling back from a state visit to the Kingdom on the other side of the portal, Twilight noticed something over there and wanted so ask a were questions. The answers will make her soon realise the meaning behind "ignorance is bliss".

A short story part of the Midnight Sorrow universe. I had planned of getting this done for Remembrance Sunday, but procrastination and work got in the way. I decided to finish this to be published for today- Armistice day. When the guns of the First World War stopped firing in 1918.

Of course, that was not the end. Official peace started at the Treaty of Versailles in 1919, though to quote a French delegate "This is not a peace treaty, it is a ceasefire for twenty years". He was three days off.

One human... One person... One man... One soldier will be forced to explore the unexplored. He shall discover, he shall learn and most importantly, he shall understand. But as soon as the father of understanding stops guiding him, he will have to decide what he believes it's right and for the greater good. However mother nature has never given us the chance to love something else besides our self and what's ours... This story is all about that aftermath. An aftermath that our little soldier with a great heart will never notice it's influence, but that it will always be there.This story stands to show the real lack of tolerance and the ability to love any sort of life beside ours. Alien life may be fascinating, it may be beautiful, but it is never going to be loved by human flesh.
