But when Celestia and everypony else recieve her she's skeletally starved, filthy, and very nearly dead. Meanwhile, while everypony's eye is turned, a lusty Blueblood pursues Twilight Sparkle, intent on adding her bloodline to his own so his family might step closer to godhood. Princess Nightmare Moon has it all. Socially awkward shut-in Twilight Sparkle has nothing of worth. Princess Nightmare Moon can acquire anything she desires. Twilight Sparkle can't seem to catch a break. Two polar opposites from completely different worlds. Yet amidst her dominant rule, Princess Nightmare Moon feels she's missing something. A certain day from her memory has been wiped... and none of her common materialistic desires can sate her quench for answers. That is until she encounters a certain young unicorn mare, who she can't seem to get off her mind.

Twilight Sparkle's dull and downtrodden life is about to get much more interesting.

Gallus and Silverstream are finally a serious couple. This, of course, gives Silverstream the idea of having the them visit her parents in Seaquestria. Gallus isn’t sure what he dreads more: meeting the hippogriff’s parents or the water.

Griffonstone can be a very hard place to live... especially for Gallus. So with nothing to look forward to when heading back home, Silverstream invites him to travel with her to Mount Aris and spend the break with her. However unknowingly to Gallus, it will be a vacation that he will never forget.

Ever since confiding in each other about their greatest fears, things haven't been the same for Gallus and Silverstream.

Gallus in particular finds that he can't get the hippogriff/seapony out of his thoughts no matter what he does. But he's never been in love before, and he certainly doesn't have any examples to build off of.

Silverstream, meanwhile, is being plagued by reoccurring nightmares about the Storm King. Luckily, Gallus is there to help her through them. But can he use this opportunity to tell her how he feels? Or does Silverstream have her own ideas in mind?

More importantly, what do their friends have to think of this sudden development?

Gallus and Silverstream have been a couple for a while now, but their relationship seems to have been nothing but smooth sailing. However, every relationship goes through challenges, and theirs is no exception.

Taking advantage of a recent break from school, Silverstream decides now is the perfect time to show off her new boyfriend to her family. So she brings Gallus along to Mount Aris, and also opts to take him to Seaquestria.

But while Silverstream is ecstatic and overjoyed to be home, Gallus is more than a little nervous at once again being on unfamiliar territory. It doesn't help that he knows Silverstream's aunt is Queen Novo, the ruler of both kingdoms.

What will Silverstream's family think of Gallus when they meet him? And will Gallus' fears get the best of him?

Gallus didn't know what it was like to have a home, supportive friends or even a family. Not until coming to Twilight's school did he even consider that having friends could be such a fantastic thing. His friends were now his family; that much was certain.
However, years of living on your own and crying until nothing is left leaves a heart wanting. The last thing he expected was to have frozen tears thawed by one of his closest friends.
Now if only Gallus could figure out how to do this whole 'special somegriff' thing.
