Kuno, a young changeling, is left weak, bloodied, and bruised after the events of the Canterlot wedding. She is soon discovered by Warden, a Royal Guard. But for some reason, Warden shows her mercy. Instead of taking her into the custody of the Royal Guard, he becomes both her captor and her savior. But over time, Kuno will come to ask herself the hardest question she has ever pondered: Can a changeling feel love?

A Friendly Warning: This story contains a rule 63 or gender-swap of a Octavia and Vinyl Scratch which means that this story is a m/m romance. So if you don't like this kind of shipping as it's being presented nor the ideal pairing of the characters, you know where the exit button is.

During their high school days in Canterlot, Octave Melody had feelings for his best friend Record Scratch, but he was afraid of admitting his feelings to him. One day, his younger sister, Opal, finds out and tells her parents about it. Later on, Octave is called down for his parents to give him a big surprise.

Despite being one of the few Gryphons living in the land of Equestria, Troius Clawston couldn't be happier with how his life has been. Along with having good friends and a stable job in Weather Patrol, Troy is happiest about his life for one reason: Canvas, the Earth Pony artist that he saved and befriended, who grew to become so much more.
However, before the two can begin their lives together, Troy has to overcome a new challenge in his life. Something he never thought he would have to face until now...

Because of strong Gryphon values which look down on alternative relationships, how will Troy's family react when they discover he's not only with someone of a different species, but of the same gender? Even though several years have passed since their wedding, Canvas and Troius Clawston's lives were just as content as it was when they first eloped. Troy was still a highly-successful singer and theater actor, who had managed to make a name for himself as one of the few gryphons performing on Bridleway. Meanwhile, Canvas was still regarded as one of Equestria's most proficient artists, and was even able to expand his work to more than one studio. In fact, Troy and Canvas were able to invest in a second home in Manehattan, even though Ponyville always remained their true hometown.

But while Troy was up in Manehattan to rehearse for an upcoming show, Canvas was busy adjusting to Ponyville by himself following Princess Twilight's departure. Or at least, that was what Canvas was expecting to do when he went to Sugar Cube Corner one particular morning; but instead, the artist was thrown into a life-changing quest the moment he found his Cutie Mark glowing for an unexpected summoning...

After months of planning, organization, and the occasional disagreement, Troius Clawston and Canvas can finally see the anticipated day of their union in sight. And with Troy's family returning to Equestria early to help with the festivities, nothing can go wrong... right?

However, considering how much there still is to do, and what kind of family Troy has, sometimes things can get a little complicated. And even with most of Ponyville in assistance for the couple's big day, things are more than likely to spin out of control on the way to the wedding aisle. Especially when a group of Gryphons is planning one of the bachelor parties.
