But there was a moment one year after Twilight's coronation where there was a hint of doubt if their friendships were over. Pinkie, the rest of the Mane 6, and Starlight, had the anniversary sneak up on them. With life getting crazier for all of them, the day came as a surprise. They know they have to do something about it. Given Pinkie's in the group, there's only one way to celebrate the day.

This is the story of a day that ended up being crucial for their friendships, whenever they realized it or not.

When Twilight Sparkle and her friends are invited to the wedding of her estranged older brother, Shining Armor, it seems like a good opportunity for the siblings to reconnect. But something strange is ahoof in Canterlot, and Twilight is determined to get to the bottom of it. A re-imagining of the Season 2 finale.

Between when the girls flew up in a ball of rainbow magic to defeat Tirek and when they landed back in Ponyville at Twilight's new castle, Discord and Spike were just left on the sidelines at the Harmony Tree and didn't show up again until they popped out from behind Celestia, Luna and Cadance later back in Ponyville. This story explores what might have happened during that time gap, and especially how Discord's first contact with the princesses following his betrayal might have gone (spoiler: it's a teeny bit tense ).

Also explored is one random potential theory for Discord's unexpected compulsion to give Celestia flowers and wink at her in the middle of a throne room full of onlooking ponies. This theory happens to involve Cadance and demonstrates once and for all that the magic of love is not to be taken lightly.

It's been several months since the Alicorn Amulet incident, and much has changed for the Great and Powerful Trixie. Her reputation damaged once again, she continues on with her magic act, determined to try and turn over a new leaf. With Twilight Sparkle now an alicorn princess, however, Trixie finds herself plagued with nightmares and a renewed sense of jealousy. Sympathetic to the mare's feelings, which mirror ones she once held long ago, Princess Luna decides to intervene.

After the events of Boast Busters, the Great and Powerful Trixie is in a fit of rage and desperately wants revenge on Twilight Sparkle. When she stumbles upon an old teleportation spell, she plans to surprise attack Twilight to carry out said revenge, but instead ends up in the private chambers of Princess Luna. What starts as an accidental intrusion soon becomes much more to the both of them.

Trixie had planned to have a quiet night under the open stars without Ursa Minors, enchanted amulets, and especially not other ponies to bother her. When a scroll turns up and commands her to attend the Princess for a night of deeply inappropriate fun, she just has one particular problem:

There’s more than one princess in Equestria.
