We’ve all had nightmares, but do any of us actually know where they come from?

What if, one day, you woke up as the embodiment of nightmares themselves?

In an alley one night, Joseph gets fatally injured after saving a woman from her terrifying nightmares.

He wakes up somehow, but he quickly finds out that he isn’t in his own body. Instead, he wakes up in the body of one of Equestria's most infamous villains.

Joseph must adapt to a world completely alien to him, as well as adjusting to his new body while trying to figure out what, or who he is.

Nightshade, (OC, originally Davis) has a rather unique power, one that many with less than selfless intentions will give anything to get a hold of. He is on the run, and just when he appears to be caught, he finds himself in a new world entirely. Called a monster by his fellow humans, how will he fare in a world where ALL humans are considered as such? And can he stop the darkness within himself? An HiE story, no the main character will not be ponified, because then it would lose the whole point. Also my first fanfic, so commentary is appreciated. Mild Swearing, Gratuitous Violence, Rated T for Teen. I do not own any of the characters, except Davis because I made him up, and I really don't care if you use him in your fic or not just s long as you make sure to direct back here so everypony knows where he came from. All things pony related are the property of Hasbro (insert proper legal jargon here)

After meeting a powerful entity, the mane six find their selves pulled from Equestria and dropped in a world where the laws of nature dominate and there is one simple rule: eat or be eaten. With no other option left to them, Twilight and her friends must forget what it means to be prey and instead become the hunters; all while they cope with the possibility of never seeing Equestria again. Fortunately, it is not a challenge they will face alone.

Course 4

After finding herself separated from her home and friends, Rainbow Dash's first encounter ends up being with some of the most annoying individual's she'd ever met. In her haste to escape them and find her friends, she makes a massive mistake that she will hope to never make again.

Tom an Average Joe, saves a girl from an attempted rape. But he is fatalily injured and blacks out, only to wake up in a strange place in a body of a horse. A horse known to the locals as Nightmare moon.

Once, she was a prisoner, beaten and tortured by grotesque horrors.

We all know the story of how the Princess’ young student and five friends defeated Nightmare Moon and brought Princess Luna back to our lands. But what if the tale were false? What if the young Twilight Sparkle on the event of her entrance exam had not been rescued by Princess Celestia, but instead lost her mind among the power of her youthful surge and had to be sent away, far away before she could destroy all of Canterlot with her newfound power. Now the feral unicorn prowling the Everfree Forest only vaguely remembers her past, slipping away from constant terrifying attempts to capture her.

And she is beginning to remember what true power felt like.

Twilight Sparkle was merely sent to the caves beneath Canterlot in canon, but what if Chrysalis, who'd recieved a large power boost recently, and who'd realized that putting Cadance and Twilight in more or less the same place might be a bad idea, decided to use a spell she'd learned a long time ago, but never had the power to pull off. Twilight was sent to a parallel world. In this universe, or perhaps I should say multiverse, parallel worlds come in two flavors. 'Line' worlds, which are like parallel lines, never touching, even if they're an atom apart, and 'Mirror' worlds, which are essentially alternate worlds that closely resemble their counterpart, save for a couple differences. Now on a quest to return home, what adventures await Twilight? Note that this is a crossover, and I claim nothing in here for my own. I will mostly use video games and shorter anime as the worlds she'll visit, though OCs might exist.

Twilight gets sent to the Campione universe and becomes a Campione after defeating Cronos. She ends up in Japan, where she meets Godou. Campione are mortals who have slain Gods and taken their power.

Twilight gets killed protecting Princess Celestia and wakes up to the words Game Over floating in front of her.

Twilight will be forced to undergo a long battle with the forces of Chaos in order to return home to Equestria, after the disguised Chrysalis sent her to another dimension to get the only one who was suspicious of her out of the way. She will gain new powers and skills, and realize some things about herself that she hadn't before.
