This novel is a companion work to CODE: Majeste and other books as well.

This story is a prequel to The War for the Sun & Moon.

Twilight and the bearers have been missing. When they return, Celestia has to deal with how her student and friends have changed. Will she be able to, when they now possess as much power individually as the Princess of the Sun?

[A/N] The cover art is one of my favorites from the comics. It doesn't have much to do with the story, or does it?

Vaati the Wind Mage has grown bored with the whole villain thing. He's trapped himself in a cycle doomed to repeat itself forever. Seeking a way to escape this miserable cycle of escape, kidnapping, and defeat, the legendary sorcerer inadvertantly teleports himself to another world entirely; a world populated by talking magical ponies who believe friendship is magic. Just how will the former villain survive this sugar bowl of a world? Will he end up learning a few lessons in friendship himself? One thing's for sure, retirement has never been this exciting.

AUTHOR NOTE: This story takes place in an episodic format. That is, it follows the style of the show in that every chapter is an 'episode', hence why they will all be lengthy. Some episodes will be canon ones with Vaati along for the ride, and others will be original where Vaati takes center-stage. The first episode takes place shortly after 'Griffon the Brush-Off'. Vaati is from Legend of Zelda and is property of Nintendo. You already know who owns FiM.

Prophesy. Gold for some, pyrite for others. How much should prophesy curse him? Why must they give the advantage to the courageous and not the powerful? It’s simply not fair, yet it happened again. Ganondorf has been defeated by Link. Zelda is saved and the universe is unharmed. For the umpteenth time, Ganondorf must face the shame and misery of the destruction of his dream to the hands of an elf like boy with a metal stick.
Broken, the dark lord finds himself in another world after he reads from a magical book. Most would see it as a horrendous mistake of the gods, but the only thing Ganondorf calls it is opportunity. A new world, without the prophesy of a so called "hero". With the Triforce of Power in his hand, Ganondorf will now seize this pathetic new world and turn all of its hope into darkness.

Presenting Princess Celestia, fair and beloved ruler of Equestria, and her daughters, Luna and Twilight, heirs to the Equestrian throne.

Wait, what was that last bit?

Due to an unknown spell, Princess Celestia must take care of her new young daughters as she fights her stronger-than-ever motherly instincts while finding a way to return everything back to normal.

A three arced story that begins slowly as partially Comedy and Slice of life and rotates more towards Adventure and Dark in later chapters.

Some school fillies have to deal with school crushes. Others with bullies. Sometimes they have to deal with both. But no filly has ever had to deal with an Evil Tyrant being bound to their shadow and have the power to control their every action. This, of course, seems to be no big deal for Sweetie Belle who seems to even enjoy the stallion's company. Though the feelings aren't mutual. The small filly reminds the old king too much of a filly he used to know... Though it's strange the only place he'd seen her before are in these strange dreams of his. Recollections of a past he can't remember.

Perhaps Sweetie Belle will awake in him that version of himself before he was a Tyrant. Before he was labeled evil. A time from when he was a father. Perhaps she will help him forgive.

What is contains within it is seven stories of seven ponies who witnessed the world change for better and worse, and all found the courage to face tomorrow. And Twilight and Pinkie discover shocking and amazing connections among ponies they know they'd never even dreamed of!
