For her first Hearth's Warming in Ponyville, Twilight wants to try a new tradition - carolling. Rainbow is a little less than eager. Can the two of them bring some festive cheer to the ponies around town, or will they be left out in the cold?

In an ongoing war against the ever-persisting changeling threat, Twilight Sparkle grows ever desperate to rid herself, her closest friends, and Equestria of Chrysalis and her army for good. Confiding in her friend Rainbow Dash that she feels as though all of their efforts have been for naught, begins to consider more drastic measures.

Rainbow, out of concern, and love her longtime friend, persuades her out of it, but after a day of fun between the two ends in tragedy, and after receiving a threatening visit from Chrysalis herself in the dead of night, Twilight finds herself with seemingly no other options but to open herself up to dark magic.

From there, things only get worse.

Twilight, as the new princess of Equestria, has to head off to the Crystal Empire when she receives a letter. After hearing about this on such short notice, Twilight cancels all of her plans for the next couple weeks for this important event, even the sleepover Rainbow Dash had asked her to go to. What Twilight didn't know was that she would be gone longer than she expected. What will Rainbow Dash do during this time? What will Twilight do during this time?

Twilight must go on an adventure to reunite with her council. This proves difficult when they are stretched all over Equestria and Nightmare Moon has taken control and brought forth eternal night. They must wield the Elements to rid Twilight’s mother of Nightmare Moon.

My mum's words still haunt me to this day, the words that let my guard down. My mum is Octavia, famous Cellist in the Royal Canterlot Symphony, and my mom is Vinyl Scratch, queen of techno music. Both are pretty rad, I like some of their music myself.
When we had to move to lower Canterlot, I expected to see snobs and gorgeous ponies who've had so much plastic surgery that they're all plastic and no pony.
What I got was very, very, different.
At least I made a couple friends in this nuthouse.

Twilight Sparkle has a crush on Rainbow Dash, yet - in typical Twilight fashion - is unsure how to go about expressing her true feelings.

So when Dash tells her that she needs to talk to her about 'something important,' Twilight thinks that the pegasus may be hiding the same feelings as she is. She eagerly tells her to come to the castle later that evening, then rushes home to prepare a romantic evening for the two of them.

Could this be the start of a new relationship?

Twilight loves Rainbow and plans to confess to her; however, she is harshly rejected. When the Princess of Friendship's love make her catch a terrible disease, it's up to Rainbow Dash to save her from dying from a broken heart!

Rainbow Dash has dreamed of being a Wonderbolt for as long as she can remember. She's trained herself every single day to be better at her craft so she may one day join the team. But, when her dreams finally seem achievable and she is just about to reach out and grab them, a rumor breaks loose, leading to her goals slipping out of her grasp. Hopes and spirit gone, she must clear her name or forever have cheated dreams.
