One day, when her father goes on a trip and accidentally takes the wrong path, he ends up at a beast's mansion. In order to save him, Celestia sacrifices herself for his freedom, now she is his prisoner, or was.
The two begin to get really close and may end up falling in love

When Discord stumbles upon a tower, he meets Celestia, the lost princess. Together they go on an adventure trying to get Celestia to live her dream of seeing the lanterns, only there's one problem, Celestia's mom.

This story takes place after the events of the episode "Keep calm and flutter on."

After Discord's reformation, he decides to have a bet with Princess Celestia. Wanting to see her chaotic side, a bet was made between the two. For one whole week, Celestia will agree to become a draconequus, to see if she can control the powers of chaos itself. Celestia agrees on the condition that should she win, she gets to transform Discord into whatever she wants for a week in turn. However, Celestia has many secret desires and it doesn't take long for her to start abusing her new chaotic magic...

Their first Grand Galloping Gala together was certainly an enlightening experience for Celestia and Discord. The pair began to understand each other, realized how much they liked being friends, and even weathered difficulty of Discord's (unrequited) confession of love. In the years that followed, the sun princess and the chaos master continued to develop their deep friendship. These days Discord even teaches chaos classes at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, and Celestia's no stranger to his chaos dimension. And the two still date potential romantic partners (Celestia discreetly, Discord openly and always teasingly mentioning his lady friends to the princess). Everything's going so well between these two dear friends...

...So why can Celestia barely sleep ever since Discord left a few months ago to go traveling for summer vacation?

But perhaps the sun princess knows the answer to that question and is finally ready to admit it to herself and to Discord. And perhaps it's time for their relationship to change once more.

A most chaotic courtship is ready to commence.

Nestled in a valley, along the bank of a wide river, stands the proud Sol Point estate. It sits in solitude, far from any city, town, or even settlement. Since it's construction 200 years prior to Luna's return it has remained a total secret. Now that Celestia has finally announced her retirement and transferred all of her ruling power to Luna, only the estate's name has become known to the public. Its secluded location remains a closely guarded secret, and that's how Celestia likes it. She's hoping for it to stay that way for at least another year or so.

When dealing with the omnipotent God of Chaos himself, however; that time frame shortens considerably.

And it also interestingly showed us that there will be a dance/gala episode coming up...and that Discord will be there in a tux and top hat (cue fangirling)...and that Celestia seems pretty happy to see him when he shows up This story is one little potential scenario for how Celestia and Discord's interactions together might go based on reading a lot into that look Celestia gives Discord when he walks in, the flowers from season 4 (of course), and the fact that I just think these two are such a compatible couple Enjoy, and thank you for reading!

We're so close to season 5! I don't know about you, but I'm going stir crazy!

Celestia's week has not been fun. First, her younger sister decides she's in no condition to rule and steals her job, then Discord disappears on her when she needs him most, and now she's stained her favorite bed sheets. Could this week get any worse?

But hey, at least that means the pregnancy's almost over. Soon, she'll be cradling her newborn baby, covering him or her with kisses and nuzzles as Luna, Twilight, and Discord watch beside her, waiting for their turn to hold. Everything'll go smoothly, her personal doctors will make sure of it. Childbirth's a breeze when you're a princess.
