She is far away from home, but the everyday discoveries of things she doesn't know and never heard about down in Seaquestria make living in Ponyville so much more interesting than living below the ocean.
The surface is the perfect place to learn and explore and she could not be happier with her new life..... But one day, Silverstream discovers something so unusual, so peculiar, so unexpected, that she thought she would never have to deal with it:

She is homesick.

Set shortly after the events seen in "School Daze".

Today is Book Day, and that means cleaning the entire library. A loud explossion happens and Twilight and Spike go to investigate. Suddenly, two unexpected visitors arrive to her home while she's away.

Who would those be?

The School of Friendship finds itself in need of an instructor to get their new physical education and outdoor skills program off the ground. Twilight offers the position to Rainbow Dash. Who better to run the program than a natural athlete and Wonderbolt? Too bad Dash is already busy with her own classes and practice schedule. When asked if she has a suggestion in mind for the position, Rainbow Dash offers an unexpected name as an alternative.

On the morning of their first class, the students are understandably excited to find out which of their favorite professors was chosen to instruct them in the rigors of physical fitness and education. When the gym doors open, and their new instructor appears, it becomes immediately apparent their class will be anything but easy, or boring.

Since Princess Twilight Sparkle had elevated herself to the status of an immortal alicorn, she has come to realize that there would be one part of her friend's lives that they may never get the chance of having - her funeral. To make up for this, she decides to host a mock funeral so they can have the opportunity to experience it. However, word about the preparation for said funeral accidently gets out and as a result, Equestria believes that Twilight has died.
