After an accident with her scooter, Scootaloo finds herself in the tragic situation of having to spend the Hearth's Warming holidays in Ponyville Hospital. Her holidays are completely ruined and it's all her own fault. There's nothing worse that could happen at this time of year.
But Hearth's Warming Eve is a time for miracles. And a Hearth's Warming miracle will bring Scootaloo just what she needs, in the form of a valuable life lesson that lets her reflect on her situation and makes herself ask the question:

Is her own Hearth's Warming really the worst in all of Equestria this year?

This story is a rewritten and combined version of Luster Dawn Friendship Successor and Passing On Together. A fix fic for anyone who didn't like the finale which apparently broke the promise by Meghan McCarthy that Twilight would not outlive her friends. But the truth is that its up to us whether she does or not, Jim Miller said they don't know how long everyone lives including Twilight. That means they are leaving it up to us to decide for ourselves. The way I saw the finale there was a curse breaker option. It appeared to me that Twilight was training a successor in Luster Dawn so that she can give up her immortality. Great tests await Luster as the real Grogar returns and sets up a plan to conquer Equestria.

The main story in the Successor Verse. Sad label for the loss of loved ones and death in general. But also happy and fun times, and a bittersweet ending.

After Twilight left to rule Equestria, all her friends minus Applejack have left Ponyville, and now she's lonely and tired of flying. Only Applejack, still based in Ponyville, remains, but how much emotional support can one pony give?

Meanwhile, stormclouds gather on the horizon. A new machine, piloted by a pony desperate to win, threatens to undo the Wonderbolts themselves. With her best flyer wracked with self-doubt, can Spitfire play the situation to her advantage?

What happens when year after year you watch ponies you grow close to grow old and die? How far would you go to keep somepony, anypony you love close? Now that Maud lives in Ponyville adjacent, Pinkie Pie can see her amazing big sister all the time. And Maud couldn't be happier to have a quiet place all to herself.

So when the Sisterhooves Social rolls around again, Pinkie gets the idea to compete in with Maud. Though hesitant at first, Maud comes around to the idea as a chance to make up for lost bonding time with Pinkie.

But the two sisters will be up against some stiff competition, including some of Pinkie's friends and even the twice denied champions of Applejack and Apple Bloom. Will Pinkie and Maud be able to work together well, and do they have a shot at winning first place?

When Twilight discovers she gained the power of immortality along with the ability to control the sun and moon from Celestia and Luna, she decides immortality is a fate worse than death and decides she must give her power to someone else rather than suffer generations of loss.
