Mata Nui stands at the precipice of utter ruin, the Toa Mata making one final stand against their arch nemesis, Teradix. With one final, desperate attempt, a new warrior of mysterious origin is called to the field of action. Will they be able to turn the tide, or will Mata Nui fall?

Written for the Manechat Secret Santa 2018 event, as a gift for user Takanuva, aka Radiant, one of the biggest and most passionate Bionicle fans I have ever met. I went into this knowing absolutely nothing about Bionicle, so I used the Bionicle Wiki as my main base for writing these characters. I apologize for any mistakes, I'm really unfamiliar with Bionicle! This was done as a fun little exercise and as a gift for one of my dear friends <3

In the time before time, the world was a different place. Where biomechanical beings lived, and where three virtues of Unity, Duty, and Destiny brought a civilization together. It was a place beyond imagination and legend as the noble Toa protected their people with the elemental powers.

Now, that era is over. It is the time of ponies and magic as harmony spreads across the land of Equestria. The princesses celebrate a new addition to their ranks and seek to heal their land from the terror of Tirek.

But the past often catches up with the present. The light spring from the cracks and the shadows follow as remnants often come across the paths of these peaceful creatures. Peaceful creatures who face the legends that once roamed their world…

DISCLAIMER: The BIONICLE franchise is property of the LEGO company, and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic belong to Lauren Faust and Hasbro. Any fan-made MLP or BIONICLE characters in this story belong to their respective owners. Also, the BIONICLE story is taken from the old toyline (2001-2009), not the 2015 reboot. Any stories from that period belong to their respective writers.

With Teridax's Plan presumably failed and one of their member fallen, the Makuta fear rescue may never arrive. So when presented with a chance to escape their fate they take it. Now they find themselves in a new land, with new rulers and no knowledge of them.

Faced with the six children of Shadow, the Royal Sisters find themselves with a decision to make, and, puzzled by incomplete tales of a world locked in an eternal war between Light and Dark, not much time to make it.

What would any self respecting Makuta do, but push the advantage?

Makuta Teridax, The Master of Fear, Destroyer of armies, and ruler of a universe. When left unchecked, he called forth genocide, then turned said forces against his brother. But, is it mere coincidence that Teridax shares features in common with the feared Nightmare Moon, or is something darker at work....

My first hand at a story. I tried.

Discord, the Spirit of Chaos, has been defeated, trapped in stone by the Elements of Harmony. The two newly crowned princesses, Luna and Celestia, scout his palace and find a vault full of treasures and wonder.
Amongst Discord’s greatest treasures, Celestia discovers a strange golden mask, almost insignificant to the naked eye. Celestia soon learns there is a history exists behind the mask… and the one inside of it.
Inside the mask is a being who was once a ruler in a time before time. His name: Mata Nui.

While journeying between dimensions to try and warn the Toa Nuva of possible doom, Takanuva, the Toa that controls both light and shadow, finds himself in a world of purely organic and powerful beings known as ponies. Now he must find a way to leave this universe and continue toward Karda Nui. But there's something else in Equestria that shouldn't be, and a Toa may be just what is needed.

Takes place after Takanuva's Journey, The Kingdom, and Dark Mirror, but before The Final Battle.
The story takes a lot from the Bionicle storyline, particularly that of 2008. If anything confuses you, I recommend the amazing resource of biosector01.com.

It has been eons since the day he defeated the makuta and brought peace to this world that was called bara magna, but how he brought life to this world, at a cost for his life. he now remains in a tomb where he slumbers in an eternity. while he sleeps time goes on his race is now gone from existence for no one knows. the world is now inhabited by ponies, and an ancient evil has awakened.

One night on the road to Canterlot, Trixie comes across a creature made of metal and flesh. She proceeds to engage in an awkward conversation with him involving secret missions, powerful evils, and hugs.

Crossover with Bionicle.

The world of Equestria has lived in peace, never knowing that this world was never their home to begin with. Now when their six protectors go missing they must call upon five misfits. Each of them have a sordid past with each of The Elements but they must put those behind as they enter an new world that at the same time seems so familiar. They must tread carefully, however, for the shadow of The Makuta knows no bounds. Even for those who thought themselves protected.

Before they could complete their mission, and rescue the last of the Matoran, the Toa once again attempted to vanquish their old foe, the Makuta, after he escaped from his prison. Instead of standing, the Makuta fled, prompting the Toa to follow, and step into a world unlike any they had ever seen before.

Set after the Web of Shadows, but before the Mask of light.
