It was late afternoon when the CMC (cutie mark crusader). Sweetie belle, Applebloom, and Scootaloo were at there clubhouse as usual, discussing ways on "how to get their cutie mark". After talking about ways to earn their marks, Sweetie bell spoke to her friends.
"Why don't we head to Zecora and see if she needs help gathering ingredients for her potions" She told her friends, they nodded in agreement.
"CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS INGREDIENT GATHERERS, YAY" They all shouted in unison.
"Will work on this later, lets head to Zecora's first" said Scootaloo.
"Hopefully we get our cutie marks this time" Said Applebloom.

Whenever the CMC would head out into the Everfree forest, they would occasionally get lost on the way to Zecora's hut, this was one of those times, they were walking endlessly through the forest, it was quite, much too quite for their taste.
"Are we lost, Scootaloo" said Sweetie Bell.
"N-no, were not lost, we're probably getting close to Zecora's house" The Pegasus stammered.
"I'm not sure, I think y'all went the wrong way Scoots" Applebloom said.
"Yeah, okay, were lost. we are definitely lost." Scootaloo replied.
They continued walking, to see if they can find the road that lead to Zecoras hut, but to no avail, they just ended up wandering farther into the forest, as Scootaloo continued walking she tripped through the hole leading down to were the mask of life was.
"SCOOTALOO!!!" both Apple bloom and Sweetie belle screamed.
"I'm fine" Scootaloo said as she stood up. "hey guys check this out."
As the other two went in to get to Scootaloo, they looked around in awe at the symbols on the walls. none of them could read any of the symbols on the walls or understand what it meant, so they focused on moving toward scoots.
"Hey look at what I found" Scootaloo said as the other two came up behind her.

'What are they? they're organic life forms, they seem a bit small; there probably similar to matoran' he thought to himself.
"What is it?" sweetie belle asked.
"I dunno? what do yall think, Scoots?" Apple bloom asked her friend.
"Maybe Zecora will know what this is, she has all kinds of masks in her house." Scoots declared.
As the CMC exited the shrine they found the path to Zecora's hut, little did they know they were being followed, Apple bloom knocked and waited until Zecora opened the door.
"Why have you three visited me when the moon is almost high. you should be heading home before night is nigh." the zebra spoke in rhyme.
"We came here t' know if you needed help with finding ingredients for your potions; but we ended up getting lost, Scoots found something though" Apple bloom told Zecora.
As they went inside Zecoras home, she told them there was no need for gathering ingredients for her. Then the Zebra asked what they found, they gave her the mask, she stared at it in awe; the design was remarkable. She told the three she has never seen such a mask before, she continued to think to herself to see if she could remember seeing such a design, but nothing ever came up.
"Maybe twilight will have something about the mask in her books." Sweetie belle suggested.
"Yeah, she might have a book on the mask we found." Scoots replied to Sweetie.

After about 5-10 minutes Zecora walked the three fillies all the way to the edge of the Everfree forest, they said their goodbye's to Zecora and went to the library with the mask. When they arrived they noticed no pony was home so they ended up looking for twilight. After 10 minutes of trying to find twilight, they spotted her with her friends along with both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. Then they started trying to speak with Twilight.
"Twilight, we have to show you something." said Scoots
"Not right now girls, were in the middle of something" Twilight responded with a small smile.
"But we found it in the Everfree forest-" at that point she was cut off by Twilight who gave the three a disapproving look.
"Girls, what did we tell you about going to the Everfree without some pony watching you?"
"But look" Apple bloom said as she took it out to show her. as soon as she took it out it grabbed every ones attention, including both princesses.
'This village of theirs is remarkable, how would all these creature be responsible for such buildings. Ah, eight more creatures, two are a bit taller then the rest I see, the white one is taller then the midnight blue one, what a colorful group of creatures'.
"Ooh that was a Doozy!!" the pink pony exclaimed, even though the others weren't focused on her.
"It's design its just magnificent, and its made out of gold!" Rarity said.
'Well, thanks for the compliment, if I was able to speak that is'
"I've never seen anything like this before? have you princess?" twilight asks as she passes me to the white alicorn.
'I feel the energy coming from this princess, its almost like I feel alive once more.'
"Hmm... I have never seen such a thing as this before, even in my rule over the last thousand years. This is certainly unique; shall I appoint you to examine this more my student?"
"I would be happy to Princess Celestia." just as she was about to pass me over I decided that the energy I had acquired in the short amount of time was enough to create a new body with.
"T-the mask its glowing?" Twilight says as curiosity and fear. all the others back away in awe as the mask was floating by itself.
As dust started spinning around the mask of life, similar to the first time when I arrived on Bara manga. With the dust spinning around me faster until eventually; my body start to form taking away all the creatures breaths. When I was complete I was on one knee and both my hands planted on the ground. 'Having trouble walking again, can't complain, Haven't walked in a long time.'
"Hello there."

Once I greeted them, I look at each and every single one of them. Fear, curiosity, stunned, something I am not used to, I have been away for far too long.
"What is the meaning…" the midnight-blue quadruped creature before being interrupted by a pink creature (I have yet to analyse on how it got in front of me).
"HI-MISTER-METAL-ALIEN-I'M-PINKIE-PIE-WANT-TO-BE-MY-FRIEND-DO-YOU-LIKE-PARTIES~" The only thing I got out of that, was that her name was Pinkie Pie, until some force picked her up and dragged her to the group.
"FREEZE CREATURE, WE HAVE YOU SURROUNDED" from the looks of it, it has armor I assume a guard of sorts.
"Stand down guards, let us take it from here” the alabaster Alicorn said, dismissing the guards “Greetings, creature made of metal, I am Princess Celestia; Raiser of the sun and Co-ruler of Equestria, this is my sister, Princess Luna; Raiser of the moon and Co-ruler of Equestria also, May I have your name?" She asked, while observing me, surely they don't think they can control the sun or the moon, maybe I've forgotten to set the gravity of the sun.
"My name is Mata Nui, it is a pleasure to meet you both" I said.
"What a peculiar name, is there a reason why you are here in equestrian soil?" Celestia asked.
"You merely awakened me from the mask of life, I have been asleep for eons or more, I can't keep track of time, but I can observe through spiritual form" I replied. As soon as I stated my situation a blue blur moved up in front of me.
"No way you lived that long, every pony here knows that Celestia and Luna are the OLDEST in Equestria, what proof do you have to show that you were here before them" She said smugly and jabbed my chest with its foot or whatever it’s called. All I know is that they are ponies.
"I created this world, pony" well merely put life on it. Everyone around either gasped or had their mouths agape. I could tell that they thought I was lying but, the way I said it sounded serious no one dared question except the blue flying pony.
"Liar, what proof do you have that would even be possible to be true" she was building up rage inside her.
"Rainbow what do you think you’re doing, you could upset him, he's practically unstable and possibly mentally ill if he thinks that" The smaller, purple, pony said, a blue aura surrounded, Rainbow dash I believe her name was, I couldn't tell because of the male voice.
"I agree with Twilight, Rainbow Dash, there is a simpler way of finding that knowledge rather than merely asking questions, isn't that right sister?" Luna said as she dragged Rainbow to her group.
"Indeed Luna” Celestia said “Mata Nui, in order to know the truth, you are going to come with us to Twilight's castle were we will be able to view your memories"
"Ahhh!!! What is that filthy creature on me get it off!" one the guards yelled, I was confused, until I saw what or who it was.
"NO! Wait!!!" I yelled out, too late to stop him from stepping on my friend.
"Filthy creature" He said. He backed away when I was getting close to him, though he did not know that I was going to the scarab beetle that he stepped on, He was still alive but badly injured.
"It’s just a bug Mata Nui, what could be so special about those wretched creatures" Luna said.
"He is my friend he stuck beside me when he found me and stayed with me as company for all those eons in my shrine" most of them backed up a bit, possibly from my sudden outburst or the realization that he was my friend or the assumption that they think I am crazy.
As I put him in my left hand, I lifted my right over him. Summoning the masks power of life and bringing him back life, my mask started to glow and all of the others watch in awe as I start bringing my friend back to health. I moved my right hand away to see the process was complete, he was up and about moved around my hand.
"Impossible" Celestia muttered.
"No it’s possible, but only with the Mask of Life can I bring back what was once lost, or in this case a dear friend" I said as I put the Scarab beetle on my right shoulder.
"No, only advance unicorns would know such an advanced spell, even Starswirl the bearded had trouble perfecting the spell, how is it that you were able to perfect it?" Twilight said.
"My Mask is not run by this magic you speak of" I stated as of a matter of fact.
"Sister, it’s time for me to start rising the moon" Luna said. As to why they control it I do not know, but I know for a fact that maybe if I could fix the way the sun and the moon work, odds are I could be on their good side.
"Perhaps I could FIX the way the system works here before I forget" I said, before Luna could ask what I was talking about, I started focusing on moving the sun to have its own gravitational field, I started to float above the village and start the process.
"WHAT IS THOU DOING!?" Luna yelled out to me.
"I am reliving a burden on you and your sister by fixing the gravity of the sun and the moon, you both need no longer take this burden any further for now I have set you free from its grasp" it was done the process was completed I started floating back down to the village. Almost all the village had their mouths agape including the princesses.
"Shall we head to the castle you mentioned?" I stated.

"What did you do to the sun and the moon!?" Celestia yelled at me.
"Like I said, I have relieved both of you from controlling the sun and the moon, but when I was trying to fix them, I noticed that it wasn't the sun or the moon you were controlling it was the planet itself so I ended up fixing the gravity of Spherus Magna, but as far as I can tell I think you renamed it otherwise without knowing" I said in a depressed tone, only few of them noticed, so I quickly changed to a more serious look.
"I have always moved the sun and the moon before when Luna was away" She lowered her head but brought it back up. "How could you possibly know that it was just the planet we stand on?"
"Again, 'YOU' assume that you can control it, but in fact it was just the planet, when I brought life to this planet I was losing my strength, getting weaker, I forgot about the planets rotation when it was completed" I stated.
"Thou must think thee a fool to expect us to believe thou" Luna stated.
"You might think so, but we shall see, where is the castle you mentioned, we could continue this conversation there"
"This way" Celestia responded while interpreting the information I gave her. And off we went.
"Can we go too?" the smaller white pony with a horn asked.
"No, Sweetie Belle, you and your friends need to go home, we will be back later" the white pony with the purple mane said. The three smaller ponies all whined then left.
'I need to watch my reserves, If I can't keep them steady I might over expend myself. containing all that energy is not good for me either.'

It was an interesting walk to the castle; almost every single structure used the same style, except the one building around the corner called 'Sugercube Corner', but what was more interesting was the castle we walked into, I never saw it outside with the town, but I guess I was distracted from a more concerning issue.
"I never did get the rest of your names other then you four" I said as I pointed to who I was talking to.
"My apologies” the purple Alicorn said “these are my friends: Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy," she pointed to a yellow pegasus with a pink mane, who was hiding behind Rarity "Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash who you’ve already met" which Dash snorted in response "and me Twilight Sparkle".
"It’s a pleasure to meet you all, this is my friend, Click" I said as I pointed to him on my shoulder. Pinkie was jumping up and down ready to burst with question but Applejack pulled her tail down holding her there until she whispered something.
We ended up in the room which Twilight called the throne, the whole six took their places and sat down.
"Mata Nui" Celestia said "I require you to stand in the middle, for me and Luna to do the spell since it will take much of our energy in take Twilight and her friends with us in your memories" I did as requested before turning to the alabaster Alicorn.
"I'm ready" I said.
"Let us begin" and with that both of their horns glowed and it went dark.

"Where are we?" Pinkie asked.
"I don't know Pinkie, do you know if it worked Princess Celestia?" Twilight asked.
"I am definitely sure it worked, but where is Mata Nui?" Celestia said.
"S-sister look" Luna stuttered as she got Celestia's attention, whose mouth dropped, seeing a massive body taller than anything known to them, reaching up to the Ozone layer or possibly higher, the other group of ponies were wondering what the princesses were looking at, so they all turned around facing my foot, as slowly as possible they all decided to look up, until they were looking at my face all their mouths dropped, gaping at they saw.
I knelt down so I could get a closer view of them. They all flinched at how fast I moved, they thought that I might flatten them. I bent down as low as I could to so I could pick them up, since this is my mind and a complete void I used my right hand and put it underneath them, then pulled them up with me so I could stand up, I put my right hand in front of my face so I could speak, I may not have realized that I would have spoken so loudly because of this form.
"FEAR NOT, IT IS ME, MATA NUI" my voice boomed, my voice was a lot louder than I thought, so I lowered it as much as I could.
"It’s me, Mata Nui" the ones to recover first were the princesses.
"How... How are you this big when we saw you earlier, you weren’t this big before" Celestia said.
"This was my original form, but that's beside the point, the reason why I took all of you at my height, was so you could see the events that are about to unfold" the rest of the group recuperated, I started pointing with my left hand behind them. "This is where I will show you were it all began and where it will end" I said. They all turned around to see other version me standing next to the island.
"This is the island of Metru Nui" They gasped at what they saw, all kinds of buildings, airships and an industrial city. They all watched in awe as the city below them came to life "All my life, I was devoted to protecting the matoran, but when I couldn't do it with my height, I had created the Toa; defenders of Metru Nui, but it was not to last, for this was the day when the Makuta took over the land."

"Before I go into the events which transpired you must know how it all began. The Matoran were usually the ones to put everyday history in my database including current events. So was all the events that transpired from when I was put in a coma, a 'sleep like state' if you would." I said.
"You may begin Mata Nui" Celestia replied.
"During my rein over Metru Nui, I was the one to watch, guide them if you would, the Matoran" during the story I showed how it was peaceful given the time, I showed them all what Matoran did for their natural jobs and showed them the "Rahi", or animals. I then showed them my brother; the Makuta. I explained why he did what he did “Makuta then kidnapped Turaga Dume and put him in a stasis pod hidden in an abandoned tunnel. As Makuta took control he had my people under watch, with the Vahki that only obeyed orders directly from Turaga Dume…
"Wait, wouldn't the 'Va-keys' know that Dume was, well, not Dume?" the Cyan pony asked.
"With the masks that the Matoran make, it is easy to fool someone" I said, as I appeared next to them in my Toa-form "The Vahki were supposed to protect the Matoran in their time of need, until Makuta made the Vahki fierce, oppressing the Matoran."
"Was there any other way, they could have prevented this?" Luna asked.
"The Toa were always the final option I had, Toa lhikan was sent to retrieve the six stones and give one stone to an individual matoran"
"What pray tell, are the stones for? And what purpose do they have?" Celestia asked as she was thinking.
"The stones were the six elements─" I was cut off by the group shouting and staring at me. "WHAT!?" Hmm... I wonder if they know anything about them but I will ask them later. "What is the problem?" I asked them.
"Are those the Elements of harmony?" Twilight asked, as her curiosity grew more.
"Well, these are a form of 'harmony' but these are special elements." I replied, it must be a coincidence that they have their own form maybe...
"What do you mean by special Mata nui?"
"Each element have their own talent..." the six ponies move their heads closer to listen closely "Fire, water, air, earth, stone and ice" I finished, in response they had their mouths agape.
"W-well at least we know there not the element of harmony." Twilight replied, I rose my brow at that.
"You can continue Mata nui" Celestia said.
As I continued about how the Vahki was all over Metru-nui and how the next Toa were chosen they were given tests, they weren't true Toa, at least not yet. Until they learned about their powers that their masks had. As they returned to the arena to present the disk they've acquired. Dume, who was really Makuta. spoke saying being a Toa must prove themselves with deeds, not simple gifts, to prove themselves to be toa they had to show their skill in the arena; by doing so the Toa were humiliated and Dume ordered thee Vahki to arrest them, by doing so the matoran that had the arena's control panel activated a very powerful dust storm, the Toa had no choice but to latch on the ground with their weapons while three of them were successful, the Toa of Ice, stone and earth fell to the center where they were held prisoners. As the Toa of water caught the Toa of fire, the Vahki grew closer to the Toa. The Toa of fire readied his disk launcher and fired at the statue of Toa Lhikan and watch it fall on the Vahki. As they escaped five of them managed to find their true mask power. The Toa of fire wasn't able to see he could potentially do as time went on he finished the Mask of Time. As the Toa that were imprisoned, escaped and regrouped and went back to the arena to confront Turaga Dume, the Toa were too late Dume removed his mask to reveal the true form Makuta. As he continues he put me in a comatose sleep-like state. I saw myself feeling tired and began to fall to the ocean. I was asleep, it took me a while to figure out how to wake my spiritual form. As this happened I found out that I could not wake and I found out I was dying. Given time land was made and I became an island.
As I looked to the group most of them were 'crying' shedding some tears but apparently pinkie's hair had gone deflated, given the sound she made. I continued "Time started going down for me and the mask of life. I knew this was going to happen but when I had other Toa to find the Kanohi Mask of Life before it was too late." As I finished the dreams-cape began to collapse. "I guess I will have to finish this later" I said.

"He is here, go forth and bring him to me, Dead or Alive, Preferably alive." said my master. As I stood before him. In a secluded tunnel were he lays in his throne.
"Are you sure he is here Master?" I asked. He stood up and moved out of the shadows, where I was able to see him.
"Do not question me, I have felt his presence for a long time were as I can feel his life force. Now go before I use you for spare parts" He said icily.
"It will be done" I said as I walked out of his domain. I began taking in the life force that appeared as I headed out towards it. "I will make sure nothing gets in my way”
