It was just a normal day on the Apple Family farm for Big Macintosh, that was until his littlest sister came up to him with a question that was unexpected as it was surprising.

"Where do babies come from?"
"Huh?"

Pinkie Pie is bringing her big sister Maud around on a tour of Ponyville. While looking around Sweet Apple Acres, Maud loses her pet rock, Boulder. She receives help from Big Macintosh, and the two have a nice, deep conversation.

Sol Do, Rarity's hick cousin from the gem-mining town of Hiddenite, is visiting the fashionista and her friends in Ponyville. What promises to be a simple visit from a relative, however, quickly becomes a tale of love at first sight as Rarity comes to learn she's not the only mare in her family tree obsessed with finding a significant other.

Note: This fic was not in any way, shape, or form inspired by S4E13 Simple Ways. I've had this story in development ever since the second half of 2013, believe it or not. With that said, I will be making some references to that episode in this story.

The morning after a wild wedding reception, a number of couples awaken and must face the paths life has set them on.

Originally published in February of 2012 on the Pony Fiction Archive, after over two years... it's finally finished.

It was only a few days ago when I lost my voice and Fluttershy had to sing in my place with the Ponytones. Then, just the other mornin', Rarity's asked me out to a big fancy dinner in downtown Ponyville. What could this mean? Have I done somethin' wrong? Is she finally kickin' me out of the quartet? Or, even worse, could an elegant unicorn like that actually be interested in a stallion like me?

I ain't no good at reading ponies, and I'm even worse at speakin' my thoughts out loud. Rarity is a nice, elegant lady, and I'd be a plum fool to hurt her feelings. Still, the truth's gotta come out somehow. There's only one mare in this-here town who strikes my fancy, and it ain't her.

Based on an idea given to me by Propmaster.

How much time has passed the poor farmer stallion by as he lazed away on his farm? He doesn't know, but one thing is certain. All the mare in this town are apparently crazy.

After all of Fluttershy's help to the Ponytones, Big Macintosh wants to find a way to thank her. So he takes her out for dinner, it's the least he can do, right?

Being the mayor of Ponyville is not easy, not when you have the Elements of Harmony and the Cuite Mark Crusaders always causing trouble. Mayor Mare has a solution however, a Bachelor auction and Big Mac is the star of her little show. Follow Mac as he goes through his own personal hell, while the other stallions seem to be enjoying themselves!

Stallions on the Block: Big Mac, Soarin, Braeburn, Bulk Biceps, Prince Blueblood, Flash Sentry, Caramel, Thunderlane, Dr. Whooves/Time Turner, and Spike! Also two new ponies that you might be able to recognize.
