It is over. Sombra has conquered Equestria, and recently took Griffinstone into his fold. With the warmongering Griffins done with Sombra sets his eyes to the remaining resisting guard outposts and splinter groups. All seems lost for the denizens of Equus, the shroud of Sombra ever expanding, his dark armies marching to devour any resistance. There is one place however, where Sombra's dark armies will not march to. The Undiscovered West is said to host many a peril, but these are just rumors... right? There are many legends associating to this strange land, many say the weather acts on it's own, creatures acting independently... and a strange race never before seen, waiting for its time to strike....

The onslaught of Calamity Ganon meant many terrible things for the peaceful denizens of Hyrule. For the timid Princess Mipha, champion to the piscine Zora people, it was death. And yet, hundreds of years after her tragic demise, Mipha's disembodied spirit aided in the effort to finally purge the malefic force from the land. By lending her still-potent powers of healing to safeguard the one whom her heart belonged to beyond even the grave, the Hylian Link, the Calamity was successfully unmade. Saddened to leave her dear Link, but content in having fulfilled her sacred duty, Mipha felt herself beginning to fade away. It seemed she was finally passing into the next world...

...But such a deserved and final end was not meant to be.

Awakening from what feels like a dream, Mipha discovers that she yet lives. Now, though, she dwells in a strange world; an alien world, filled with creatures she had never before seen and beings that rule with surprising sapience to match her own. Forgath Ironblood is a man who values power and might. He spent untold years developing his dark magics, and years more using ice and iron and balefire to claim and rule his domain. But it didn't last; a group of bold and plucky rebels broke into his inner sanctum and unleashed a magic he was unprepared for, a magic that cast him into the void between worlds. At that point, he was no longer their problem and the peasants rejoiced.

The world he fell into, however, was another story. It was a world rich in magic. A world full of innocents. A world he could bend to his will and carve a new domain out of.

He never knew what hit him.

To the highly skilled operative code-named Naked Snake, today was not that good of a day. On top of being sent to kill his former mentor in order to prevent the Cold War from going nuclear, he had gotten captured, and lost his eye. While he did manage to escape, there was still much he had to do in order to complete his mission.
Still, even being tortured by someone with inexplicable lightning powers was somewhat preferable to finding himself outside of not only the mission area, but his world as he knew it...

In the chaotic period following the fall of the Covenant Empire, the Shipmaster Vraal Rutaen does his best to ensure the safety of his race. For years he and his crew have fought countless threats, searching at the same time the precious Forerunner technologies on which depends the future of the Sangheili. But this is not enough. The Sangheili, once proud warriors that fought in name of glory and honor, are now without a true purpose to live, risking the extinction. But when they discover accidentally a new planet that defies every law of physics, maybe they've also found the answer to their existential question. All depends on the first contact with the inhabitants.

My name's John. I guess my last name doesn't really matter any more. Life is ironic, isn't it? Life nurtures all kinds of species that can get along, but it also creates the species that kills others. In fact, there are some species, who's sole purpose is the death of everything but itself. I'm talking about diseases, of course. Viruses, bacteria, fungi, and even parasites. All my life, I found these things interesting. I loved studying them, so naturally I grew up to be an epidemiologist. When I wasn't studying diseases or doing other basic functions, I was playing one of my favorite games, Plague Inc. It's a game where you try to wipe out humanity using diseases. Over the years, I've become a master of the game, to the point where it isn't really a challenge anymore.

But, that all changed when the game sucked me into itself, and I wind up in a strange land, with even stranger creatures. But that isn't all. I've somehow gained the ability to create and control every single disease I can think of. Now, I have to survive in this harsh world, knowing that I'm one step away from wiping out the entire planet.

Like I said, life is ironic, right?

To any newcomers reading this fic, I want to point this out. The story may seem confusing in the first five chapters, as I was trying to figure out how I want to write the story. I won't be getting rid of any chapters, but some small points might contradict each other across both of them. These points hopefully won't affect much of the future.
