Spike has been missing for three years. Why he disappeared is a mystery to everypony. What caused him to leave in the first place, and why is he suddenly back now? He's acting cold towards his old friends and won't reveal why. He's lost his love for Rarity and is treating everypony he comes across the same way Gilda did.

After a month of being in the dragon kingdom of Draconia, Spike has decided to go back to Ponyville. He has changed a lot since he left the first time, and that is easily noticeable. That, however, will not stop him from living his life again. But of course, there will be some changes.

A sequel of another story of mine, 'True Origins'. Sorry about the description, I couldn't think of something better. This story takes place after the end of Season 2 but before Season 3.

Sombra may have been defeated after his attempt to retake the Crystal Empire, but he was not destroyed. He still lives, and now he seeks to work his way into the mind of Princess Twilight Sparkle. As she struggles with the implications of her new immortality, she finds less comfort in the wise words of Princess Celestia, and is drawn to the dark magic of a fallen king.

The land of Equestria has been turned into a desert wasteland. And it's all Twilight Sparkle's fault! Dubbed the Cursed One by all ponykind, Twilight must now live in hiding to keep herself alive. Even her once close pony friends have abandoned her. The only one by her side is her number one assistant, Spike, who has becomes a gun wielding badass bounty hunter to keep her safe.

This story has no connection with what I call my TwiMacVerse. I've actually had this idea for a while. This also doesn't use anything from Season 3 as it has just started.

Two years has passed since Twilight became the next princess of Equestria.... With the elements of harmony, Twilight became weak and Exhausted from sealing up the elements of darkness, Despair, fear and Chaos with the help of the elements of harmony.

However Twilight's and the Elements of harmony powers were not enough to seal the darkness up for eternity. Twilight knew that this fight was far from over, During this time. Twilight was looking for a Chosen one, The one who will seal up the darkness for once and for all.

Meeting a Filly named Iris Mint who grew up to be her very own student, Twilight has given her student the task to find the ones who possess the six elements of creation. Light, Destruction, courage, Power, Harmony & Creation. Only then they can bring back the powers of an ancient hero who vanquish the darkness that crept the lands long ago.

Parts after: The growing relationship of Sweetie Belle and Button Mash after that fateful house visit.

Upon her first use of darkness its taste lingered within her mind, creating an ever growing thirst and revealing her true desires. With her recent elevation to an alicorn and princess she begins to find her desire for power insatiable. Small seemingly inconsequential steps grow into giant leaps, pushing her senses of morality and reason.

Besides, doesn't the ends justify the means? For a queen can accomplish so much more than a princess....

If Twilight Sparkle had her way, she would never use the dark magic of King Sombra again.

Fate is not her friend. A new discovery in the Frozen Wastes outside the Crystal Empire has drawn her into a new adventure. When King Sombra returns to claim the throne of not just the Empire, but Equestria itself, Twilight is tested to her fullest.

Spike finds himself in the middle of a growth spurt. Rainbow Dash is missing. Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Fluttershy are being pursued by timberwolves. All across Equestria, Sombra’s influence is felt.

The solution to Twilight’s problem may be found in Equestria’s history, if that doesn't just open up a tide of new issues. Can even the Elements of Harmony stop Sombra this time?

An alternate ending to the evil ending to Kiss of the Dark by Soothing Stone. King Sombra survived the attack from princesses and fled his castle with the Queen of Shadows, his wife Twilight Sparkle. This is the story of how they rebuild their empire and overthrow Celestia and Luna.

Spike's Destiny was decided long before he was even born, but when he is finally told about it, will he go along with Celestia, or will he rebel and run away with his friends to make his own destiny?
