Twilight Sparkle wakes up one day to find her marefriend, Tempest Shadow, has gone out of her way to make sure Twilight has the perfect day. However, Twilight has a nagging feeling there’s a reason for the favors, and she’s determined to figure out what it is.

Twilight Sparkle's attempt at food conjuration magic quickly spiraled out of control. But the royal sisters assure her that when properly modified, it's completely harmless. Is Twilight being overly cautious? Or will Princess Celestia and Princess Luna succumb to the same fattening fate?

This is an unofficial sequel to the old story "A Different Kind of Magic" by frylight_sparkle0. Please give it a read, it's very good! The setting is somewhere around mid-Season 2, in keeping with the original.

(Set years after Twilight’s ascension to the throne of Equestria)

Twilight and Celestia have just begun a romantic relationship, staying together at Canterlot Castle, with Celestia enjoying her retirement while Twilight rules Equestria in her company.

Twilight is determined to make Celestia hers. And what better way to start that than surprise her with her favourite breakfast? It couldn’t possibly go wrong.

Twilight Sparkle was cursed, imprisoned into a castle. The only way for her to be freed was for her True Love to kill the great dragon guarding her. For years, suitors lined up in front of her castle. Today, she is waiting for her love to come.

Twilight's been having weird, unfamiliar urges ever since she became an alicorn. Like an intense desire to grow flowers, or the fact she can't stop chewing on her wings when she's distracted. As it turns out, you can't just suddenly inherit the magic of all three pony tribes without getting the instincts to match, and instincts can be a powerful thing. Doubly so when you're not used to them, and especially when they're telling you that your best friend with the gorgeous wings would make the perfect partner to share a nest with.

Wait, what was that last part?

Originally this was supposed to be a birthday gift for Celysus, but I fell in love with the idea so it's gonna be a full fic now. You can't stop me.

Twilight Sparkle has been trying to understand what it really means to be a Princess of Magic.
Discontent with the ambiguity of her destiny, she receives an uninvited visit from her elder alicorn peers: Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Princess Cadance.
It seems they have sensed their youngest sister's frustration and uncertainty, hoping to help her finally figure out what's really upsetting her.

Sunset's off on a world tour, she's made it big. She's at the top of her game with several charting albums and rising higher by the day. But she never forgets the one who kept supporting her at her lowest moments. But a lonely motel room does not pleasure make.

Twilight's... well, Twilight. She prefers armchair adventures and romance novels -even if she has a stunningly great girlfriend- and things like that. Qualified introvert. Still, that doesn't stop her from getting lonely on those long nights, and an empty bed and a girlfriend on live TV... well, yeah.

Thankfully Facetime exists, eh?
