Ever since the return of Nightmare Moon, Princess Celestia has noticed that her student and her friends have been getting into a lot of trouble, so, naturally, she worries that they may end up getting hurt while they're unable to protect themselves. Thus, she assigns a very special guard to keep watch over them, without them knowing, of course.

Ever since he'd met the Princess, he'd been serving her faithfully, how could he not? But when she tells him to head down to Ponyville to keep her student and her friends safe, he can't help but wonder if this is the best use of his time.

Unfortunately for Emerald Skies, a job is a job, and he'd be loathe to ignore an order from his Princess.

When Scootaloo crashes into twilight during a magic experiment they get teleported to an unknown city that's burning and has weird creatures scattered in the streets. As the two separated stranded ponies roam around the city separately trying to figure out where they ended up, will they try to make it home as fast as possible or will they stay to help a species that's being systematically eradicated?

After Chrysalis's final attack, she vowed with utter hatred in her eyes to seek revenge for snatching her royal rank away from her. King Thorax and his Princess allies prepared to defend against the former Queen.

But nothing happened. They waited, eventually easing upon their security, however still alert on the possibility that she was still alive.

But one day, King Thorax receives a report on the Griffon Kingdoms. After approaching a griffon outpost, to collect Intel, a changeling scout began to take sniper fire.

After carefully crawling away and gaining a visual on the enemy sniper, the scout expected to see a griffon sniper. But upon taking a closer look, the changeling was stunned to see not a griffon - but an un-reformed changeling.

The scout took a picture of the snipers face, and then returned home for a report.

The scout was terrified to see the changelings face.

Being a successful author, especially when you don't want anypony to know who you are, can be a lot of work. When she moved to Ponyville calling herself Page Turner, she was so convinced she had finally found somewhere nice and peaceful to keep working while running a small book store. Unfortunately, a certain purple unicorn moving to town means nothing can ever be so simple.

Includes: Sarcasm, Lovecraftian influences, and observing the events of the show from the perspective of somepony just trying to live their life.

   After a terrible mistake, Silver Watch has been forced to travel existence fulfilling his job as the Traverser. Its been more than two thousand years since the start of his journey and it has finally brought him to the magical world of Equestria. Will this new pony find it in himself to trust in friendship once more, or will his curse as the Traverser spell doom for all of Equesria. Only time and a certain Princess of the night can tell.

Long ago, before the fall of Princess Luna, before the rule of Discord, there existed another race of pony; The lamia, or snake ponies, feared by all of pony kind as mighty hunters and predators. When the Two Sisters rose to power, no longer able to stand by and watch as the lamia preyed on their subjects, they decided to put an end to the lamia’s reign of terror. Leading their army straight into the capital of the lamia they slew their leader, along with any lamia they encountered along the way.

Using a shapeshifting ability gifted to them by an ancient relic, the scattered remnants of the lamia managed to stay hidden for over a millennium. In the rare case that one of their kin was discovered, they were hunted down and persecuted without so much as a trial. Adapting to the lifestyle of the ponies, the lamia live in constant fear of one day having their true identity discovered.

Tired of living in constant fear, of hiding from her neighbors, and not caring about the consequences of being caught, one lamia decides to leave home and move to a friendly little town in the center of Equestria. Little does she know that something as small as moving to another town could set off a chain of events that will change relations between the lamia and the ponies forever...

The prologue contains some dark themes, as well as a bit of gore, however, that is the only chapter that contains them.
