If I recall, Amaryllis’ hives’s change had rather less to do with Starlight and rather more to do with Shining Armor.
I hope Light Step and Double Time can meet up and make up in this, at least a little. I’m not expecting them to get back together (though I’m a romantic so I do hope for it), but at least I hope that they can leave things off better than before.

IIRC, Shining's method of reconciliation probably had something to do with the grub with his coloration that Cadance is playing with in the scene with the Queen. It'll be interesting to see how Cadance thinks about Flurry Heart's half-siblings.
This intro is making me stressed, still excited for more though.

I would like to think that my initial gentle prodding had something to do with this. I'd also like to think that my prereading suggestions helped with the editing process. Don't worry. It's okay. Cadence is totally cool with Shining sleeping with a changeling queen now and again.
I mean, Amaryllis even offered to turn into a stallion and sleep with Cadence so everything is fair!
Also Cadence would never murder a child no matter how angry she got so that helps those grubs.

Oh, I do not envy her in the least. Abd that's before taking Double's talent for making ponies see the parts of themselves they'd rather ignore into account. Assuming, of course, that the two are going to interact to an appreciable degree, but I don't see why they wouldn't. (Well, unless Cadence is calling her younger sister-in-law up to the Empire for a surprise...) Eagerly looking forward to more.

I am wondering, since Double Time is an odd sounding name for bug, did Double Time name herself? She's identified by a code first, so was part of the reformation that she got to select, or was given, a name?
