I'm a fan of clop and clop related accessories. My favorite pony on the show is Luna and pretty much all of the mane six. Not really a fan of Applejack though, but I don't hate her or anything.

She just annoys me.

I'm also a fan of Trixie and can do a pretty good impersonation. I plan on eventually writing a Luna clopfic. Yeah, I know, there are probably tens of thousands of them. But you know what? I don't care, because there can never be enough Luna clopfics.

Have a sexy Luna pic.

I'm also the founder of The Queen of Lust. Please do give it a look.

Alright, dude! Take as much as you need, man!

These two tracks were at the bands empitome of brutality. Literally, before they added a new member, which was a women. This band were at their most darkest, craziest and most demented at this point in 1983.

This was at the hype of the Grunge era, and this was when the band tried going for, and this is their closest to mainstream sound as they ever got.

This was during their first, and only major label debut. This was when the band softened up, and this is considered their lightest work; The Burning World 1989

1103388 Good to know! Thanks for the advice. I'm definitely not familiar with any of those things (I actually don't pay attention to subgenre labels at all. I couldn't even tell you the general subgenre that all of those bands on my list fit into.) I think I'll take you up on those two track recommendations. Though it'll be a bit before I get to them. I'm currently listening to After the Burial's entire discography. Oh, and teaching myself php, but that's neither here nor there. Maybe it's everywhere… or nowhere? Nah, definitely everywhere AND nowhere. :raritywink:

Yeah, man, apparently Swans is big on this site. That is how I found them out, a good friend of mine suggested it to me. Really, man? Have you heard of Drone music, Post-Punk, No Wave, Noise Rock and Ambient? That's the premise of this band. They are very good, though, it's the matter of what you stated, really; depending on the mood. Like how you discussed Slipknot, and how one day they might make your cherry pop, but not right now, at least. Swans is good, download their whole discography. They take a long while to understand and appreciate if you don't have the slightest knowledge of this type of music. So, what I'd recommend is, listen to their lightest, or their most brutal material. And take it slow until you realize what they are about. Just ask me to recommend two tracks to start you off, and you don't have to be all exuberent about it. Just give it a quick flip, and maybe get an understanding if you could.

Honestly, a few bands seem interesting to check out; DevilDriver, Like Moths To Flames, Periphery and Within Temptations. They sound good, especially the first and last.

1102974 Excellent list as well.

I've heard the name Swans here and there, so I guess now's as good a time as any to listen to something from them. As for Pantera, Metallica, Sepultura and the like not having braces, I like to think those are such givens there's no reason to do so, but I can see the fault in my notation. Trivium's already on there (with braces too), but I haven't heard of the others and will definitely check 'em out.

I'd say I'm familiar with half your list. Sadly, I am not a fan of Slipknot or Stone Sour. At least I can say it's not for the reasons most people cite, especially with Slipknot. It's more or less that the music I've heard from them—and every now and then I come back to sample something to see if anything's changed with me or them—tends not really resonate with me in any positive ways. It's either flat or just makes me wanna stop listening to it. One of these days I suspect I'll listen to something of theirs and go "you know, this isn't actually all that bad" but that day is not in the foreseeable future.

For recommendations… well close your eyes and point at that list I gave, 'cause I could recommend every single one of 'em (but the ones in braces above most of the others if you haven't already heard of them yourself).

That is a fuck-load of bands, man. Shit, well I'll just show you my list and get torn apart by yours. However, though. I do like some of your bands, and am quite surprised you haven't chosen something like Pantera or Metallica as a personal favorite. :raritydespair:

The ones with the ([) are my most played and most enjoyed ones, and like yourself, I'm up to interpetations on other said artist that you have in mind. Oh, and I would highly suggest Trivium, Machine Head, and The Facless, Fleshgod Apocalypse. I have a lot more, but these ones are just off the top of of my head. Oh, and finally, I love Grunge music also.

Hey, fellow metal-head! What bands do you fancy?

1101887

What type of bands you sugar-coat, for?

Well this was unexpected… but thank you anyway! :pinkiehappy:

Scrolling a little further down, I see the way you came across me was through the metal bronies group. That's as good a way as any to find people I guess.

Thanks for the watch. Not sure what I did, but thanks anyway. :scootangel:

1101601

I was grown and raised to like heavy metal, but I also enjoy electronic music and progressive rock.

1100907

Hell, yeah, I will! Hey, quick question. What type of music you like?

1100540

Yeah, they are still a great band, even after all those years. Ozzy can still sing. I almost expected them to stroll him up on stage and his voice will be all processed. But it was actually very powerful.

They have a new drummer. I don't really know who he is, but he is an amazing drummer. So that was pretty cool.

So yeah. They are really good, and their new stuff is great too. Totally check them out.

1098394

You going to one in Canada, also? I might be going to one in Edmonton next week, however, I would like to ask your opinion on the show. Are they a good band?

1099195

Romainia, eh? Far away, man, far away. This is where I seen them;

1099188 moved to the US. I couldn't exactly go back to Romania just to see Rammstein live so I missed this epicness

1098608 Always wanted to see them live. They actually had a concert in my country a few days after I moved. I could have seen them live but nooooo
