Oh wow, this is great. I love how you mixed up the mechanics in this story. Tobuscus apparently is actually in Equestria so things seem normal for the ponies, while everything is still a game for him (considering he's seeing comments and stuff). That's... I don't think I've ever seen that done before.
That does leave one question. What happens at the end of each chapter? Considering he probably waits before making another "video," does he just seem to vanish to the ponies watching him? Does his "character" remain behind, only seemingly frozen until a new video starts?
1629584 I guess it's up to speculation. I see it as both worlds being on a different timeline so there aren't any pauses between chapters.

While this story is still hilarious, it seems as if you rushed this chapter a little bit. Was it just a filler, were you rushed for time, etc.? I'm not complaining, it just seems short and a little hectic.

Obviously you need to have Toby get something out of his inventory (something to wear would be best). That way to everyone else (except Pinkie most likely) it seems like whatever he took out showed up in an instant. Now I'm imagining Toby talking to Twilight, taking out a hat during the conversation, and Twilight having a BSOD as she tries to figure out what just happened.
Also, I loved the part where Pinkie could actually "see" the video. At first I was wondering why he'd be so surprised at Pinkie knowing about his dog, but then I remembered that to him, they're all characters in a game, so there would be no way she could possibly see his dog. I just thought that was great.
