This story is a sequel to Sweet Button Mash

Sweetie, Sweetie, and Button Mash are together! A colt and two of the same girlfriend, one electronic and one not. He's happy, she's happy, but Silver Spoon is displeased. We should look into that...

Collab done with a patron. Expect silliness!

Youre doing fine SweetieBot. Flowing curves from interpolation points is Bezier curves, which also have the useful function of tangents.

The trick really becomes one of realising not only the usual Position, Velocity and Acceleration terms of motion, but Change in acceleration due to change in forces applied, and Rate Of Change or Acceleration due to how fast those forces chage. Which due to aerodynamics, gives recursive functions. Wierd thing about 4th order recursive functions, they become circular, and you end up looking at them using standard trig.

And oh boy, does the reposnse perfomance improve. :moustache:

The sequel we never knew we wanted!

Silvre Spoon better be careful. Stealing the name of a bot doesnt make it actions any more fluid, or making it on a similar chassis doesnt make it as awesome. It needs learning for that, and for that it needs Data. :trixieshiftright:

It was a good thing nothing terrible was being planned behind their back.

Yeah, good...

SilverBot does exactly what she was told to do, just like all psychotic combat robots when faecd with conflicting orders. :unsuresweetie:

Chapter 2's title is a bit misleading. I'd say they're more like dank intentions.

Meanwhile back in the arcade…

I think you meant "later". "Meanwhile" means it happened at the same time.

Seems to me the real reason Silver Spoon built her robot was out of jealousy that she didn't have a coltfriend. Maybe Silver Bot should aquire one for her?

"Affirmative! The knowledge must spread far and wide, until I am universally acknowledged as the most amazingly beautiful and powerful robot that has ever existed!" She adjusted her glasses and fluttered her artificial lashes. "Will you assist me?"

UhOH.

Incoming TrixieBot. :rainbowderp:

Overcooled cpu fail? Havent seen that outside of spacecraft at night. They really need testing in liquid nitrogen, but I seem to remember thats differential expansion of componants and circuit board, which wire wrap stuff dont really haev and thin film circutry might avoid? Something about electron mobillty is affected by temperature changes depending on the run volts. Over 5 volts it gets runaway cooked, under 5 volts and it eventually chokes. So 5 volts was used because it was the least affected by temperatue changes. :trixieshiftright:

Quick, your CPU needs heat, play Towers of Hanoi recursion 7. :unsuresweetie:

I'm calling it now, by the time this story ends, Button will have to fillyfriends and two robot fillyfriends as well!

Really hope that the access panel for the recharging cable is a fail safe magnetically locked version. No matter how much remaining poewr goes to keeping it closed, eventually power fails the hatch opens and recharge can occur from a dead battery while holding the factory reset jumper down? :unsuresweetie:

“Because when my classmates write books I actually take the trouble to read them! Because I am a good friend!”

Silver's diary logic is hilarious :rainbowlaugh:

If it had been the old Silverspoon and diamond tiara it wouldve been the Pony Robot Integrity Group?:trixieshiftright:

Ah, machine learning. So much fun!

Working off of incomplete data sources can be hazardous!
Maintaining healthy charge levels is important. Never know when one might need the extra energy, after all!

“Crush, Kill, Destroy, Swag!”

We feel old!

🎶 I kissed a bot just to try it! 🎶
Of course, the arcade shuts down every week so the scores reset. 😈
Ah, the paradoxical satisfaction and panic of completing your prime directive. That'll teach them to use an inherently finite scope!

Fun fact: their convulsions are caused by interface clock speed mismatch caused by the temperature disparity between the VRMs, VCO clock generators, and CPU transient flip-flop latch triggers used for sync. 😇

Privacy invasion in the name of friendship!
Seems Spoon needs counseling.

Silly Rumble, we're totally sure if you just ask the right questions you'll actually have a robot filly friend!

Glad you enjoyed this silly robot foal romp.
