Glad you asked. Well, firstly, for my post you need a college degree as there's lots of information to remember, and generally they want ponies who are well educated. Second, they need ponies who can handle tough working environments and who can't crack under pressure.
To summarise, 10 people applied for my job, and I was the one who won it. It probably helped that I was fascinated by this stuff from foalhood and knew a lot of it anyway!
