Why, oh why, did you have to bring that steaming pile of horesapples and waste of literally everything comic into this? Not sure how you'd get Sunset into this.
But there is always easier ways to do it than digging up that comic as a reason Sunset ends up however she does.

I'm also questioning why it even needs to exist for this story and what happens to Sunset. If Sunset gets stolen by something, great.
Now why does the comic's... Things, need to happen before hand to get to this point? There's easier ways to make the idea work without dragging IDW's worst idea ever into it.

I don't get the issue of using AaM as a good starting point for a story. It's a good way to get a broken Sunset who is jaded with trust issues while also giving her a reason to get out of CH.
Now, I haven't read this story. But don't just trash people for using AaM- yes, the comic wasn't very good but the comic still has some quality uses if done right. Of course, AaM isn't the end all be all.
I will give this story a try later, when it has more content. I have it marked for now.

Ok look. When the game first came out these little guys were actually dangerous even on a giga. If you were to get hit once by their spit it would crash your game imagine that happening during a PVP fight or on a giga line
What is ARK: Survival Evolved?

In layman's terms, it's a pretty big open world survival game that takes place on an island with prehistoric animals and sometimes fictional monsters with some having made up abilities (Arthropluera spitting armor-melting blood, Daeodons creating healing auras, snails secreting cementing paste, etc). Not to mention that there's a ton of building, crafting, and farming involved if you have big goals in the game.
Looks interesting, watched. Though I have a question, what's up with that floating A? ARK lore actually tells us how survivors got there and they were a pile of bones loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong(at least most of them, there were few from the "modern"(22nd century) times) before the ARKs, everyone on the ARK is just a clone. So...What's up with that?

It'll honestly be somewhat of a mixed bag according to my plans. While I'm aware of the lore of ARK nowadays than years ago, from reading the explorer notes the first time to learn from their points of view, my best guess was that the survivors were brought (or taken unwillingly) somehow from various points of time in Earth's history alive and were placed on the Island. To give you the idea, in the original ARK, you got an Australian biologist from the 21st century, a power-hungry Roman Centurion from Ancient Rome, a London chemist from the 1800s, and there's a Chinese warrior hailing from the Three Kingdoms era who were living their daily lives and now had to do whatever it took to survive on the Island.
Now if you've read a few other fanfictions of ARK: Survival Evolved, you'll notice that some authors have their own versions or twists of the game's lore. For instance, one writer wrote that the ARK is a solar system with habitable planets and threw in some supernatural stuff (don't ask me how it all works, I didn't write it
). This, in turn, inspired me to come up with my own version of the lore which will be explored later on in the story.
Also, the floating A is, if you've read the description, the ARK logo. I wanted to give it more of a role and explore this version of ARK.
