The Commonwealth is saved, the Institute is destroyed, and the Sole Survivor has all but guaranteed the survival of the Minutemen, and by extension, the commonwealth itself. Sadly though, he didn’t stick around to lead them into a new age of glory like most of the soldiers had hoped, he chose to go his own way, to continue the fight wherever he saw fit.

This is not about him though, his story will be told another day. Instead, we focus on one of the soldiers he left behind, a soldier willing to take a risk to try and ease the burden on his fellow soldiers, and in the process, ended up in a whole new land that was so similar, yet so different.

This soldier must combat new horrors with a form no longer his own, can he adapt and survive in a land he knows nothing about, or will the Wasteland merely make him another unfortunate casualty.

Story will take place roughly about a year before the events of Fallout Equestria

Fallout Equestria is written by Kkat, which I’m sure we all know, but I feel I need to state it anyway so you all know who created the masterpiece.

Also I know, terrible description, I’ll think of something better later.

Chapters (2)

that's an interesting concept. I'm tossing this story in my Que folder so I can come back when this story has more chapters.

WAIT A SECOND I KNEW I RECOGNIZED YOUR USERNAME! You made Godly Promotion. Which after a quick check hasn't been updated...:fluttershysad:

I feel kinda ashamed because Godly Promotion is in my Master Piece's folder which only has 11 stories and I didn't recognize you until I checked your profile.

The 11 stories in the Master Piece's are above the 76 stories in my Scared Favorites Folder and those 76 stories are above the 97 stories in my favorites folder. So only 11 out of 173(11/173 or) stories made it on.

Rounded to the nearest whole and it's
Master Piece's - 6%/11 Stories
Scared Favorites - 43%/76 Stories
Favorite's - 56%/97 Stories

Fascinating, I'll have to see where this one goes. I like the fact that you aren't using the Sole Survivor as a MC, means we can get a whole new backstory to shift through. Spelling is on point as well. While I wish we got a better description of the MC when he was in the Boston Wasteland, I can also understand not wanting to work too hard on a description that will only be around for a single chapter.

All in all, definitely something to keep an eye on. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Sincerely,
Hunter Redflame.

Interesting, I wonder what a person from Fallout will think of Fallout Equestria, and how he sees the disturbing parallels between the two, I was hopping that he would start out in a stable first, but then again I don't think he would be welcomed that warmly by the Stable dwellers. I wonder what he will think of the Magic tech the war era of Equestria to his own prewar tech. I wonder in what period he finds himself in, before the Before during or after Lit' Pip's venture into the Wastland, I hope he didn't kill her or get's killed by her. I wonder what happened to his eye to need a cybernetic eye when he teleported? I hope he get's his own pipbuck and stable barding. I wonder how well he will learn to fly. Considering the how bad his home was I don't think he would really have a reason to try to come back to it, so it might actually think it's better here. Still I wonder what will motivate him to go out am set himself on a mission to risk life and limb for ponies

Also if you are looking for a cover art I am open for commission, if you are interested. You can go see me some of my work on DeviantArt here, and my youtube speedpainting channel here

Dude... did you read the description:applejackunsure:

I've made the same mistake once or twice before as well.:rainbowlaugh:

Not bad at all so far you got it pretty good

It's off to an interesting start but I don't like the intro.
mc volunteers to test a teleporter which is an ok start but then he ends up in FoE TF'd as a bat pony and all of his stuff has been TF'd too and fits him, which implies a strong and intelligent magic transformation yet the mc is found badly injured.
He also ended up with a cybernetic eye somehow, yes they were in FoE but red eye was a special case as that's what his vault centered around, it wasn't really something available otherwise that I remember.
Even if he had the money to pay for it I don't see them just replacing his eye without asking, like what if he had wanted the deluxe model?
His caps were converted over into local caps so mc would have money, how much isn't sated but he had enough for the medical care and an eye so mc's probably carrying around a pretty decent sum of caps.

pros: mc gets to fly and a robot eye which may or may not do anything interesting.
cons: mc doesn't really have any advantage from being a human other than he still has the gear he was carrying

This universe is a bit different from the actual FoE, at least I plan for it to be, like some things getting replaced with others and the occasional universe shift.
Think of it like a part of the multiverse-theory, some things will change while others stay the same. Meaning some things are more abundant and some are more rare, like the cybernetic eye.
I didn't want it to be the exact same as the original, so things will be changed and the universe will at times seem completely different.
Also, don't worry, things will make sense later on in the story, with everything having a logical explanation (or at least as logical as it can be when magic is involved.)

i can allready tell i want more please

Great start! Added to my read list. Keep up the good work.

Chapter 2 I got no complaints

interesting chapter, it would make sense that Frost didn't know what a pegasus was, seeing that he probably never had a formal education. I think the over view he got about what was the world he was in was well done, avoiding going too much into the tedious details and I think he is getting used to his body pretty well, sounds like he is fitting right in. From the looks of it Frost just roll with what ever happens to, seeing how he seemed to not complain much about his new condition. I wonder what he thinks of how a little girls fairy tail gone horribly wrong with a battle between them. Looks like he really like hanging out with that pegasus I wonder how he handles himself in a firefight. I what would Frost do once he discovers that he can flay and can hulling huge stash of scavenged stuff in a sky waggon, assuming that he isn't afraid of heights at least. Will he learn on how to use his echo location and his sonic screams like lion does in FoE?

For some odd reason was reading the Cook and Silver's lines in the voices of Demoman and Sniper respectively...

I'm liking this so far, haven't seen a lot of humans in FoE. Not really into the human turned pony thing but at least he is an interesting sub type so I can run with it and see where this goes.

Boston is not that bad as far as the wasteland goes. Pre -war soldier literally comes out of the freezer and solves all of their problems.
