I've always seen Pinkie as being something of a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Cake.
The like dislike ratio on this is so skewed is not even funny. If you don't like the story then you're heartless, I think this is sweet.

“Thy” is not a contraction and “Art” is spelled just like the painting variety. Just FYI.
“Thou” means “you”, “thy” means “your”, “thine” means “yours”, “art” means “you are”, and shalt means “shall”.
For example: Thou shalt use proper spelling of ye olde Equestrian when thou art in my presence. Or thy rump I shall thoroughly redden with mine hoof.
If thou shalt desire anymore of mine assistance prithee let me know. I shalt be at thy beck and call.

That doesn't seem like the most effective way to do it with Pinkie. After all her entire drive is to make others have fun so why not try to take advantage of that?

I'm not saying it wouldn't work at all. It's just not the most efficient way of doing it. I would think that as a mare who knows Pinkie well Cup would take advantage of Pinkie's traits. What Discord did can also be done in reverse, of course not to the same level without chaos magic but it can certainly have a big effect.

I feel the opposite way. The thought of an accident feels really scary to me. I mean I like them but the thought of becoming dependent on them and losing control really doesn't sound good.
