Plot has potential. Needs a good proof read though. One of the best (and funnest) ways to proof read is to get a friend, put it on Gdocs, and go through it together at the same time. Not only will you cover it in twice the speed and sincerity, but you'll enjoy doing it :)
1039789 I'm assuming by your "needs a good proofread" remark you're referring to the fact that it says "iles" instead of "miles" in several places? This is intentional. "iles" is the unit of measurement used for distance in Trigun.
This has been proofread several times by myself and others with similar levels of technical expertise. I don't generally post stories until I've weeded them thoroughly.

As for the story itself, it is good, plot has potentional and the ponies seems cool enough with big guns, i am awaiting more.
1039881 The crossover is with Trigun. Familiarity with Trigun is not necessary to read Skygun, although it helps. I'm doing my best to establish the world-setting in such a way that you don't really need to know Trigun for this.
That having been said, totally go watch Trigun. Netflix has it and it's also on Youtube.

I like the start you have here, but I feel I must warn you against the chief pitfall of crossovers like this:
You haven't told a new story.
This is the first episode of Trigun, with pony puns. If you aren't changing anything, then anyone who's seen Trigun doesn't really need to keep reading, and anyone who hasn't likely won't get it (like the commenter who thought 'iles' was a typo.)

This is way more than just a name-replace; I love that you actually think about which ponies would really fit best in the role. SO EXCITE to see Derpy, too, though I almost would have thought it would have been Berry Punch. XD But then that'd probably be too close to the actual episode to be as interesting as Derpy. :3

And yes, I'm putting a lot of thought into which ponies to insert into which roles. This will lead to episodes that play out COMPLETELY differently than what you might expect...which is of course the whole point and fun of this.
And yeah, deciding who to use for Frank Marlon was a tough call. Derpy's chapter is going to be...interesting.

5818409 I've read Austraeoh, but it took me a LOOOOOONG time, and I'm only about 17 or so chapters into Eljunbyro. I'm trying to read at least five chapters a day. It'll take me a long time to get through all of it.
(Also, knowing Imploding Colon is SS&E makes me regret some of the things I've said about SS&E in the past... >.<;;)
