It's not about what he "wants". It's about consent. And using the arcane equivalent of a love potion removes any possibility of consent being present.

Well, personally I think there was a lot leading up to her transformation in previous fics. Admittedly, it was basically a sissification/feminisation story with a happier end then most - lacking the typical 'I'm just gonna become a cock hungry slut for the rest of my days' ending that most carry - and I'm contented with the end of this tale. And - I know the excuse is run down at this point - but this is a clop fiction first and foremost. The inherent point is for sex and nothing but sex and thus, there isn't much more reason for the transformation occur than for just sex. However, I suppose if you wanted, this could be read as the most sexually motivated story of finding oneself there is. I suppose if the author wanted, to satisfy you, they could do an epilogue of Shining happily living as a mare and a mother, showing it wasn't purely motivated by sex? But I dunno. Also, I kinda concur with you there. Gleaming is my least favourite r63 character and by far the most overdone. However, there's very little you could actually do with her in terms of story. R63, as a thing, exists - at least so I think - to facilitate porn. I don't know what you could do with it, beside do retelling of the same stores/episodes just with a genderbent cast, as there is not much in the episodes themselves that are reliant on their sexes. I suppose you could create original stories with r63'd ponies, but why? How does changing their sex make them any different aside from how they look? You could, I suppose, drastically change their characters. But then aren't they just new characters wearing the skin of pre-existing characters? But blah! I'm ranting.

In retrospect, I should have worded it differently. In my head, it was a spell designed to remove inhibitions; sort of like a modified version of the "Want-it-need-it" incantation. For what it's worth, I could have done a better job with describing it.

To be honest, I already forgot what the visit's motive was in the last chapter, and by that I mean the fact of changing ones gender. I love the relation cadence and shining have in this one. One thing I expected was night light to appear in one of these, I expected him to be the special pony. I never was good at guessing characters, like antagonists for example. I have a proposition for a position or for foture use I guess: in the scene before twilight's climax I oh so expected celestia to just walk over twilight, pressing her belly into the filly she filled gleaming even more with her stuff... you know.
