Just a little note about my stories being posted in two different places. YES, I am the TerraZeal on Fanfiction.net! Most of my stories there are Supernatural/Warcraft related, with my older stories (10 years or more older!) being Charmed, Sailor Moon, or Final Fantasy related. A few Death Note and Harry Potter fics are interspersed with all the SPN and WoW fics, as well as some American Horror Story shorts.

I just figure...even if it turns out he IS sincere in wanting to destroy the universe, it isn't because he's evil. It's because he's God. We could never truly understand his reasoning. He might want to just start over, maybe with the help of his sister. A new universe, made with Light and Darkness. A better universe. No angels or demons. Just what Chuck and his sister create. Balance. A world of balance, harmony. Not the chaotic mess that is Earth. No need for TFW in a perfectly balanced world, after all. Let TFW rest, too. Come on, who doesn't think all of TFW deserve a nice, long, peaceful rest? Making TFW into the new protectors of the universe...that's not a reward IMO. That's just more of the same shit. Re-creating from scratch...perhaps even a NEW TFW...that'll let Earth's protectors rest at last.

Hmm, you have a point. In a word way though, if he is sincerely evil, it makes a weird amount of sense. But, if it is a bluff to get TFW to kill him, makes sense as well.

Disappointing, because Chuck is my favorite character. However, I can't deny that he is probably the best villain they could have come up with for the finale. I mean, they've fought everything. EVERYTHING. Death, the Devil, Cthulu-monsters (Levis), God's SISTER...there's basically nothing left but God Himself. Besides, it's SO obvious that Jack and Billie are being set up to replace Chuck and Amara as new incarnations of the Cosmic Balance. If they don't, then obviously Team Free Will will just take over protecting the Balance. Chuck said it himself after all. TFW is the firewall between light and darkness. They've fought Darkness (Amara) and won. Now it's time they fight the Light and win.
So...I don't think Chuck is evil or even sincere in wanting to destroy the universe. I think he wants to die. He knows very well that TFW would never kill him if he just asked. He has to make them WANT to destroy him, so they will have no choice but to take over the balance. IMO, Chuck is TIRED. He wants to rest, perhaps with Amara. Truly rest. No ruling-the-universe crap, just some happy family time with sis without the guilt of knowing he left a world that needs him behind. No matter what happens, he'll always be my beloved Chuck.
