This story is a sequel to Beethoven's Tenth

It is a fact that the Classical Composer: Wolfgang Amadeus Moztrot, had died of a failed kidney and Influenza on December 5th, 791 A.B.N.M. There was no doubt about it for on that date, he ceased to exist as a pony. However, as much of a tragedy, it was for a stallion to leave behind some of the greatest masterpieces and an unfinished Requiem - it was not the end for the composer himself. Thanks to an accidental spell cast by Sunburst, the master of music is given a second life in modern Equestria.

A tremendous thank you to Bitpull for going out of his/her way for editing this monster of a story.

And since this story is going to include Mozart’s music, I’m going to let you all see what kind of his pieces I’m planning to incorporate into the story. As well as this list too of all the what if the music he might have written. So if there are any other pieces that you think should be in this story, let me know.

A special thanks to
Starlight Serenade for creating the cover art.

But YOU were the one who wrote Beethoven's Tenth already! Are you TRYING to make classical music a fimfiction fad?! :D

8364290
How many stories do you know that has written based on the lives of music Bach, Paganini, Chopin, Debussy, Handel, Mahler, Strauss II, Listz or Tchaikovsky? I don't care if it's a fad, because due to the lack of such stories, somebody has got to do it. I'm rather shocked that no one has tried to write how interesting these guys and their music were. If no one else is going to do it then I will.

8364318

The Life of Zombie Pony Mozart. Sound like something I would write for the stoner market. :pinkiecrazy:

Liked and faved on the spot, i would have like mozart was the human version, but this may make things differently, unless of course this is in the previous storys cannon, after beethoven left, this happend, o well, thanks for starting another one, mozart is my favorit composer an musician in general :D

8364600
Hmm... (A sequel to Beethoven's Tenth...) I'll have to sleep on that. I just think it would be an interesting character study of how a guy like Mozart would react to the modern world. That, and horrify the elite.

Ay! A story starring my favorite composer, and starting off on a sci-fi (even if just the time travel) foot to boot! Fun!:pinkiehappy::moustache:

8364649
8364600
Considering on how insane the guy actually was, I think I’m going to have some fun with him and the rich ponies yelling at him to get out.

8364656
Fantastic!
Musical jokes? Telling ponies in music to "kiss his butt?":scootangel: More?

I don't know if it is true, but wasn't Mozart in real life an alcoholic and party maniac?

8364693
With the intelligence of the Enlightenment, a man-child personality and loved making fart/sex/poop jokes that has the most remarkable musical mind that the world has ever seen? Why yes. Yes he did.

Okay now i'm intrigued Mozart (I mean moztrot) as a pony. it's gonna be a fun ride.
Question: Did or have you ever listen to the commentary with the director & author of the stage play of Amadeus movie? the director say it was a prostitute that killed two composers (Beethoven & Mozart) & it's based on actual fact. p.s: I put this bit of info in private so there isn't some comment war on your story.

I am liking this so far, and Moztrot had a reality breaker after he waked up

Hope you dont mind i call him Mozart Moztrot

Good chapter, it felt a little empty at first, but then i realized it was because of all the pruning you had to do to make the scene flow right.

XD While you're at it, why not bring all the insane musical geniuses back? It will be great.... for the readers. XD

8364600
After thinking this over, all I have to say is: As you wish it, so shall it be.

It really does need some serious editing, but I like where this is going!

Noice, but needs editing. Have you considered or tried looking for any editors that might be interested on helping you?

8372135
Ah, you must be new to my writing. When it comes to my writings and editors, everything is volunteer work. You see, in the past, whenever I ask someone to proofread my stories, I'd be lucky to get a response within a week that they're interested in. And even if I do get one, there's no guarantee that they won't up and drop it without telling me why. Realize that editors have lives of their own, they're not there for mine, or anyone else's beckoning call.

Sure, some of my stories are unedited, and still are. But at least I have the curtiousy of telling the readers up front that it's unedited. If this, or any other story of mine is going to be edited, let it be from those that'll do it because they like the story itself.

So unless someone comes forward to volunteer to edit this, only then, this story won't have, in anyone's eyes, too many notes to read from.

*decides to reread beethovens tenth and sees it has a sequel...INSTA FAV AND FOLLOW. Fan boy moments now commence*

8372378
I've decided to be a sequel so that it's in the same universe, and shows the aftermath of Beethoven's visit through Moztrot's perspective.

8372384
Nice. Keep up your great work. The first is one of my favorite fanfics ever.

It really works.

In a rural town undergoing revival through music, high school students Kanae and Sousuke meet none other than Beethoven and Mozart! Calling themselves "ClassicaLoids," this mysterious duo creates a strange power through the "music" they play. One night, stars fall from the sky and gigantic robots appear, causing trouble every single day! Bach, Chopin, Schubert also appear as ClassicaLoids. What is the mystery behind the powers they possess? Are they humanity's friend or foe?

Interesting story, but I still fail to see how could this be the sequel to Beethoven's Tenth? It seems to happen before the arrival of Beethoven, doesn't it? Or he will learn about our deaf human composer later?

8375234
I can imagine the following scene.
Moztrot: Shame on you mister Sunburst! Why couldn't you resurrect me a year earlier so that I could meet this amazing composer?
Sunburst: Err... sir? From what I heard... this Beethoven actually was a student of yours in another world.
Moztrot: Double shame!

meant to comment days but got distracted by other things...
I don't think you make him human...there are too many humans in equestria stories(which I've read only about two.) Mozart should remain a pony but hey it's your story do what you want:) p.s: I have a suggestion(you don't have to use it. if there's no place where you can put in your story!) it's from the French musical Mozart l'opera rock https://youtu.be/_CvK-J_7oO0 p.s: the translation is I sleep on the roses.

Who ever said that Moztrot (the Equestrian counterpart of Mozart) was human? Besides, sometime today I'm going to have it tied in with Beethoven's Tenth.

8377634
because one of your readers Voltaje suggested that Mozart should be human in this story. if misinterpreted the conversation you had with that user then i'm sorry.

“Please! My little ponies!”

HA! She said it!:pinkiehappy:

Wow. Ponies fron Prance and Venice. It's really nice seeing other cultures referenced here. Nice touch!:raritywink:

I hope to see paganini toó, i imagine that beethovem may have inspire him to play the violín like in a concert, paganini appears in an interview about beethoven's didadtrous Violín quinteto, so its posible he could appear here in the fic with horshoepan

8380610
Hmm... Paganini?

Now that’s an interesting encounter in and of itself!

Next, Moztrot will learn the wonder of EDM and our favorite mute musician.

8381091 Moztrot and EDM? I'm not so sure he's ready for- Wait, has rock n' roll been invented yet?

8382474
Maybe there will be Electric Light Orchestra out of this.

Fancy Pants enters the fray

At first, I thought that it might had been Princess Sunburn to come back to bring me another present as I went towards the double doors. Not to say that my curiosity was piqued, I went over to the foyer to open it myself to find a white unicorn stallion with a blue mane and wearing a black suit.
“Hello Mr. Moztrot,” he said with a smile on his face, “Welcome to the neighborhood.”

Ah! Fancy Pantss has come to visit! I wonder if he'll meet Octavia at some point?

Hmmm, looks like Celestia chose a nice neighbourhood for Moztrot after all.
Waiting to see his reaction to the record player. Should be fun.

Hmmm..., actually Sweetie Belle should ask Moztrot to teach her. After all, his other version did teach Beethoven.

I downed another shot, “I’ll believe it until I see it with my own eyes.”

when

“I keep that name being thrown around, is he here?”

keep hearing that

Honestly didn't expect...well, THAT!

8390077
Fixed and thanks.

8390110

Expecting what? That Moztrot wrote a cannon called: “Lick my Plot Nice and Clean,” or him drinking in his kitchen until he passes out?

Him writing '' Lick my Plot Nice and Clean''. When I saw it, I stared at my screen for a few seconds then burst out in laughter,

8390187
Believe it or not, the real Mozart had actually written a vocal cannon in which, while he didn’t write the music himself, he had written new lyrics for it as a party piece.

This is what the original sounded like:

And this is the English translation of it:

Lick my ass nicely,
lick it nice and clean,
nice and clean, lick my ass.
That's a greasy desire,
nicely buttered,
like the licking of roast meat, my daily activity.
Three will lick more than two,
come on, just try it,
and lick, lick, lick.
Everybody lick their ass for themselves.

8390199
Wow

Just....wow

I'm in both disbelief and tears right now

fuckinghelliwantmysidesbackdamnit

I didn't know Mozart wrote that. It's hilarious by today's standards, at least.

Should i leave mention of typos here, send them in a pm to you, or not mention them at all because an editor is in the works?
