The story was very good, maybe one of the best ... But everything was ruined in Chapter 8, it seemed unnecessary and cruel that Spike was violated so that Twilight understood the gravity of his actions, that's why the story loses many points of those he had won.

In my opinion the overall rating would be 7.5.
It would have been higher had it not been for Chapter 8.

That chapter was a hard decisiton at the time, but I needed to chose that route, not only for the objective of the fic though. that chapter's plot will be crucial for the sequel.

wow, a review after three years, this was unexpected for me
yet, its well-received, I'll always love people that give their time to politely give their opinion and criticism, after all that's my main source of improvement.

I must agree with your claims, at the time I wrote this my main theme was the conflict between Spike and Twi since it was the theme for the competition (at the end the competition was called off since there were only two participants)

The main villain's arc, the good times between Spike and Twi before the finale, Spike forgetting everything (wait no, this was entirely on me, I wanted to make this story fit with the cannon and that couldn't be if Spike and Twi being together). a lot of decisions were made because of the contest's deadlines.

Oh gawd, now I want to make a remastered version of this... but can't, I have two stories in the making right now
