It's so ironic, Spike's been pining for Rarity for the longest time, and when he finally gets his chance with the mare of his dreams (not to mention a second), he realizes that the mare that is for him was right there all along...and it's the mare that had been avoiding him for the last two months because their collective bodies spoke volumes about them...
...and all it took was a unexpected midnight romp, finally confronting the elephant in the room like the mature adults they finally are, and then proceed to bang and buck each other like they were long-lost lovers or a mate just came home from prison..
...Gotta say it though, I kinda wanted the four way with Star, Rare, Twi, and Spikie-Wikey though...

Good chapter!
Spike and Twilight's relationship seemed to progress much more quickly than I usually prefer, but I still think it was good and romantic. Besides, they've known each other since childhood and at the point they reached it was either sink or swim though I think a detailed love scene where they both reciprocate their mutual feelings would have added a lot to the story. Hopefully we'll see them be more lovey-dovey and have Spike or Twilight lay the other down by the fire next chapter!

Glad to see I'm not alone on that...
And I'm pretty sure that Rarity and Starlight are still in the castle, Starlight's room to be specific. So I wonder if there would be a scene where the four of them meet for breakfast the next day. If's Spike as good at cooking as he claims, I'm pretty sure no stomach can resist his work...
..and to be honest, I still would like that four-way between them all. I'm pretty confident that Rarity may still have a flame for Spike, even though Spike pretty much snuffed that out thanks to Twilight. And let's face facts--I'm confident that Star's been having a few thought for the drake as well. The sipping of wine kinds loosened the inhibitions a bit, so I was expecting that.
Of course, there probably could be the scene where Spike officially cuts Rarity loose and stays with Twilight, but that could be another story in itself.
It's been a month since this was published, but come on, I know that I'm not the only one that thought of this once we saw the title of the story:
And considering we saw who Spike ended up with, even if the first 'encounter' was a passionate one-night-stand, maybe the song really fits.

I kinda wish that this was continued...the fact that there's an 'incomplete' tag on it makes us assume that there's probably more. If it's truly just a one-shot sequel from the previous one it's connected to, it should have a 'complete' tag.
And yes, I'm aware that I'm being hypocritical with this comment, considering that I have two stories under my name that haven't been updated due to work and other commitments (plus, having a block the size of Gibraltar at times..)
I know that life comes first...just wished there's that chapter with that potential foursome of Spike/Twilight/Starlight/Rarity. I know that it's probably more good friends then actual attraction--hell, it could even be just the spirits the Mane 7 were taking that night--but even though it seems that Spike can assume that Twilight is his marefriend, I still would like to take up on Rarity's offer of him with her and Starlight. We could see pretty easily that Rarity teases him a lot because of Spike's crush on her, but it would be pretty generous of her to reward Spike that one night--if nothing more than as a bit of closure...
...after all, even though they have their respective special someponies (Twilight/Spike and Rarity/Starlight), there's nothing wrong with a little FWB or partner-swapping....

I'm a little surprised...you acutally went with the idea of an orgy with all four characters, not to mention Spike finally getting it on with Rarity even though Twilight is his main girl....I was calling for that months ago. Glad to see that it was still a nice idea to have in your work.
...Now you potentially got Trixie in the mix, and let's not forget that Pinkie's hot on the trail of our excessively passionate quartet...

EDIT: So now we know what has happened with the crew that stayed at the Castle, we also know that Pinkie probably wants to jump in on the fun that started last night between Spike, Twilight, Starlight, and Rarity that continued the following morning. We just haven't heard from Fluttershy, RD, or Applejack yet. And we know that Fluttershy has a jones for RD even though she's already taken (Applejack). So lets see what happened when the other three 'woke up this morning'
And I'm pretty sure none of those three got themselves a gun...
I was going to ask when Trixie was going to show up (nice pajamas and cutie mark by the way Trix). Now I don't have to. Pinkie is still on the prowl. Will she make it before her prey alludes her again?
