In a way, yes, but they are not the same person, not anymore. Here's technically what happened: Alexander Hamilton's body was ripped from existence and his his soul was removed from his body, the soul was copied eight times, each soul had a mercenaries memories implanted, and created a new persona for each mercenary. Meaning, they all sometimes still have the same ideas, but sometimes, because of the newly formed persona they will notice that they themselves and the others will most likely disagree.
