Pinkie was at Canterlot’s filming studio to be filmed for her baking powder commercial by Scott Vision. While Pinkie was excited to be in the commercial, Scott just wanted to get this over with and call it a day.

If that director likes TV so much, he should've watched "30 Rock," there was an episode where they solved a problem just like this by having Tracy eat jellybeans to make it look like his mouth is moving, then dubbing in the line in post.
