Plenty of potential and a strong start, but the complete lack of any sort of narrative resolution gets a thumbs-down from me.

When you think about it, this guy has the worst occupation. He's either got to look for interesting things to hunt, or somepony needs to hire him.
I kinda want more fics with him, because it's like reading a script for a Warner Bros cartoon.
Idea for a sequel, He tries again only to find out she's Princess Twilight's friend and an element of harmony.
