A derp trying to make sense of reality.

E

They wouldn't pay attention to me. They just ignored me. They don't care.

Shortly after the Dazzlings witnessed the Rainbooms' argument with Sunset Shimmer, they concocted a plan that would surely put Canterlot High at huge risk and inched them closer to achieving their goal: making Sunset one of them.

I enjoyed this. A twist on what could have happened (If it wasn't a children's show of course). They kept ignoring Sunset all throughout the movie, I was kinda surprised she didn't go to them herself. You can't say someone's your friend and then ignore them. They'll come back on the enemy team and fire magical death lasers at you. I loved it, didn't notice any errors and it got its point across.

5514515 Thank you for enjoying it. :pinkiehappy: I tried my best to make it a 100 creeper special you know! Also, thanks for the favorite.

I love this idea and I wish it could be expanded upon more in a way. Specifically the sirens coaxing Sunset to join them long before the battle of the bands and having Sunset interact and live with the Sirens. This was good though, short and succinct, thumbs up.

That was totally awesome! :pinkiehappy:

"Why that little... how could she leave us like that? This is totally uncool! Come on, Rainbooms! It's time to teach Sunset Shimmer a little lesson about bouncing out, especially on our friends!" Rainbow Dash said

Not giving her the benifit of the doubt, Dashie? :ajsmug: More evidence for Sunset to leave.

Also, I'm assuming Sunset's wings are red? if you mentioned that in here, i must have missed it.

Interesting take on the original story!

Thank you all so very much for enjoying my story. :pinkiehappy: I appreciate what all of you have to say!

5515847 Thank you very much for adding that to your group! :pinkiehappy: Also, there are very interesting stories in there... I think I may just chill out there.

I...I can't really enjoy this story. It feels like Sunset just jumps off the slippery slope too quickly.

5516735 Ehhh... what do you mean by that, exactly? :twilightsheepish:

5516739 There's too little indecision. The Fall Formal is still fresh in her mind, and she has full awareness of what she did then. Even if her friends had snapped at her like that, I don't really see her jumping at the chance to help the Sirens. She turned herself into a monster once, and she wouldn't want to be one again.

At least, that's my take on her.

I actually predicted this when I was watching the movie for the first time. I didn't trust Sunset that much.

I love her evil personality though.

5517367 Yeah, like almost halfway through the movie when the Dazzlings confront Sunset, I was thinking the same thing too! But, I was like, "Nah, it's highly unlikely that the MLP franchise will go in that direction."

Makes no sense. Applejack still sort of stood and called rainbow dash in a way that defended subset. They also had a nice moment between sunset and twilight

1.) The entire reason she repented was horror at what she became; given that the dazzlings are even worse versions of what she was the idea she'd instantly join up or even join up are ludicrous. Even if she was hurt she's aware that it was her evil that made people shun her and that she's personally appalled that she was a monster. As such she would tell the Dazzlings to go to hell regardless.

2.) Her friends really were actually not terrible. Sunset's stunt was a major wtf moment and even the best friend would be “DUDE WHAT THE FUCK!!!???!? Plus after the nice moment with Twilight they both have a strong bond. All in all Sunset may be torn up but she'd have the strength to see the Dazzlings were full of shit. She's been around them, hung out etc the girls invited her to sleepovers played games with her etc the entire sleepover was to show (maybe I'm wrong) that Sunset truly was one of the group. Dazzlings were part right but not so right Sunset would ditch her friends

A little late to notice Sunset missing Twilight, and that costed you greatly.

5603327 ... Excuse me? I'm sorry, I don't get what you mean. :twilightsheepish:

5603684 ... I didn't get what you were saying in the first comment.

5517367 Really then what was it like for you when she Ponied up?

This is an excellent story my friend. I'm more than willing to say that when I first saw Rainbow Rocks, I was thinking this was gonna happen. Have a like and a favorite!

Sunset's hand is so huge in the cover art.

It happens. Interesting story concept, gave me an idea for something I will spend a few weeks thinking about and then never actually write. Assuming my previous story ideas are anything to go by.

Also, I completely missed a chance to make a Futurama reference there. Damn it.

I can see Starlight Glimmer singing Sunset's part in this since Sunsets now a Dazzling and Starlight reformed. :)

6989852 :) If you ever do another version with Starlight in it, let me know and i'll give you the biggest cheer!

Reading this for the second time and I'm only just now realizing the Rainbooms die at the end.
