Do you have no idea what the title signifies? "Yanderpy", it's a mashing/corruption of Yandere and Derpy. A yandere is a person who tends to start out sweet and loving, but that love becomes twisted and violent, abusive. This is normally characterized in murderous insanity - especially when they feel rejected, or when they overreact to the presence of their same sex/others they consider to be trying to take the person from them, even if nothing like that was going on ever.
This was dark before the first word was written, from the title alone.

Wow the chapter started out on a casual walk down the over affectionate derpy street then right at the end it took a very hard right into the sickly messed up love back streets. Can't wait to see what happens next!

I hate misunderstandings because all it does is make an ass out of you and everyone who believes it but that only further builds to what has happened here today. The obsession has now reached a dangerous level for our anon here and if he's not careful we could have a psychopath on our hands (cupcakes anyone?), and from the looks of it no one's gonna be able to help him. Anon's on his own and with Derpie's blood strewn all over his bathroom and her eye in the sink it isn't looking good. The suspense is real with this chapter and Anon's social life has begun to plummet as relations with Derpy continue to sour. Anyway I loved it, cant wait for the next update so good job on this pat yourself on the back.
All right. So that's why it's mature. If I had understood the reference, I wouldn't have needed to ask.
I don't mind gore. Never have. Thing is, this is boring gore. There's no real point. Like, we meet a guy who also happens to be us. Breakneck romance-cutsie stuff.
Then, gore.
Basically, it feels like you wrote this entire story so you could write gore. And the "you/Anon" guy who is the protagonist is really, incredibly hard to bond with. In order for him to be anybody, he has to be nobody. He can't have a character, a life, a backstory, a voice. He's just bland.
So that rules out him dealing with the horror as being the main point of the story.
Meaning that . . . what? We have a bland character reacting blandly to a psycho who loves gore. That's it really. You can't go very far with that kind of premise.
Honestly, you would have been much better off with a real character.
But those are just my thoughts, I suppose.

4790713 Mmok. Yeah, to be honest, I really don't like gore. I kind of half-assed this because the yandere thread was starting to die, so it became more quantity than quality. Had I had time to plan this out, it probably would've gone a whole different direction. Or at least not been such a cliche horror story.
