this story in particular has gotten very little attention 
which kinda crushed my will to write for a while because it took me a long time to write due to lots of life stuff.
My goal with each of my main stories is to give my take on some of the male characters i've liked in the show, but haven't been given much developement (at least before season three, i wrote soft spoken almost two years ago
). Big Mac, Soarin, Fancy, Braeburn, Thunderlane, and (spoiler cause i still havent written one of them 
)
But honestly, thanks, seeing a review notification for this story was great cause i rarely get one
In my opinion thunderlane is in someways the same as rainbow dash only lazier, and not as fast or competitive.

That may be true, but I can tell you firsthand... You pick up so much more when you read them in line. The little references you make, or the little things that work differently in your world make a lot of sense when you've been introduced to them prior. Like Mac's super-strength, or Dash pulling an apple cart.... Or that awesome pony jujitsu

But as you said, there are little things that i keep consistent for those who have read them in line to give shape to my own pony universe and the rules that exist in it. This is the first time i've ever written a series and it's been great having an extended timeline where everything is familiar as i go. It's my own personal pony world

No. This is the one fic that has no implied shipping in it. This fic was rather experimental, i focused on lots of description and more of a simple plot (with a little bit of action cause i couldn't help it) There is lots of interaction between them, but it's not romance related.

I'm glad that I read this. It was especially captivating during the Diamond Dog scene. It was cool to see how much he was holding back since Piercing The Heavens showed what he is really capable of.

I always fealt Fancy Pants had lots of character potential. He's looked upon as an icon of perfection in the show by all those around him, so i HAD to build on that, but of course also show some slight cracks in the armor as well. I wanted to give him a vibe sort of like this haha:
