There's consistent characterization, and there's lazy characterization. This group is dedicated to collecting stories that explore a pony's behaviors without going into full-on Alternate Universe.
It's not enough that a pony acts a certain way... WHY do they act that way? Where did they come from? What else do they do?

I think it's a "few steps removed" issue. Sitting > Posture > Fascination > Fetish > Hands > easy to signify, y'see.
And that's why we're here, actually. To fill in those steps, and a few before. Why would she be obsessed with humans? Where would she have heard about them? How does that impact her life beyond "charming quirk"?
You know, this one never made any sense to me. If the thing is based on the way she sits, shouldn't she be obsessed with human legs?
