Thank you Spring Break for daily updates!

Wouldn't be me without a stupid mistake
You just wrote a fairy tale that was a mash up of Siff from Dark Souls and Holo from Spice and Wolf! Holy crap that was awesome!
4274088
Thanks, I wasn't positive how it would turn out in the end but it worked really well!
..Holo and Sif...You crazy bastard.
...
And that is how the Alicorn's was born!
Really? Spice and Wolf and Dark Souls OST?
So many updates... You really are spoiling us, ed2481.

Eh, it was the music that played in my mind while writing it so I figured it would go well together, feel free to insert your own mood music
Someone is on a Dark Souls binge.
Now I'm waiting for a 'PRAISE THE SUN!'
I liked that.
No, I'm not crying, I just have some dust in my eye.
I liked that quite a bit. Dark Souls 2 on PC in a few days. I can't wait.

Okay guys, that's enough
How sweet.
ARGHGLBRTHYUAS! There's a story somewhere buried in my Read Later/Favorites that is a crossover of this, with Applejack.
I'm not sure I want to know, especially after what happened later on.
Fuck yeah, spice and wolf. I first got easilly hoocked on the anime, now im reading the novels, i do believe you picked the perfect fary tail for Sarah. and getting siff from darksouls in on it was pretty damn crafty as well.
This chapter...
I need to go rewatch Spice and Wolf now.
HOLO!!!

You sure it's not liquid pride?
4275805 I can't say liquid pride without thinking of something else entirely, I'm sorry.

Apples and Wheat my dear friend, Apples and Wheat
C'mon, dude, it's just one chapter after the other, isn't it? Well, at any rate, I can't complain. Since the last two chapters tie together I suppose I'll review them both:
Parting Words:
Nothing much to say, really. I knew what was coming by the title, and you certainly did well by it. Some of the 'feelsy' prose felt mushy and trite. Though, when Sarah was reduced to a whimpering child and Luna couldn't do anything, I felt a little hollow in my gut. Good chapter. All in all, this gets an Hole-in-my-Heart/10.
Fairy Tale:
First things, first. If you're gonna adapt Dark Souls into this, you might as well keep the names right. Sif would've been acceptable, since anyone familiar with the lore of Ds1 would've caught it. I get very anal when two completely different lores are brought together, since straying too far from the canon can be bad. I was glad that you put a soundtrack in. I'm glad you put it in, because it gave a feeling of serenity, sort of like Sif's boss music, actually. You also drastically changed and expanded on the lore very creatively, which for a Dark Souls concept is VERY, AND I MEAN VERY difficult thing to pull off. I didn't feel like it was sloppily put together just to add depth. I mean, if you were to replace stallion and mare with man and woman, it might be a plausible and satisfying, if not a bit out there, chunk of backstory. But, I digress. It was a recovery chapter for Sarah, albeit subliminal. As a reader, I focused on Luna's fairy tale, but with the comforting thought of Sarah coping in the hooves of her lover in the back of my head. Not many authors do that. The technique is 'Show, not tell." You showed and told, and I'm impressed. All and all, this chapter gets a Giantdad/10.
... i actually hadn't noticed the increase in updates, i just have you pegged as a (Very) active writer..... Bout time i found one of those...
That was a lovely little crossover story, Luna told. There's something in old-fashioned stories that seems to draw happy memories in everyone. (Or maybe just me..?) Nevertheless I truly enjoyed this chapter and is easily one of the more memorable moments in any story I've read in awhile. (I read A Lot)
Dang, what an awesome little story. More importantly, DAILY UPDATES! How awesome is that? Probably the most awesome thing in the world. Please don't feel like you have to keep doing those. I thought updating twice a week was hard, but that's just insane. My hat off to you! Or it would be off, if I actually wore a hat.
What is this? Spice and Wolf in a Mlp/Fallout Fanfic?
It must be Christmas morning and no one told me.

Heh, it's Spring Break and I'm stuck in my basement with nothing better to do then right
Anyways, I'm glad that I managed to tear a bit of your heart out with Parting Words, I've never seen myself as being good at conveying big emotions like that but apparently I managed to pull it off right so that's a big plus!
As for Fairy Tale, it was an idea that I got into my head the morning of and decided to do a little draft of it. It turned out so well that I figured 'hey, why not' and rolled with it. I'm glad that I was able to create a 'show and tell' effect too, that was my intention and it seems to have worked well!
On a final note, I'd just like to say thanks for doing your 'in-depth' reviews, they're something I wait for every chapter and I always look forwards to seeing what you've got to say
Nice story. I can't wait to see where Sarah and Kuna go next, but I bet the Enclave is going to be hurting soon.
4278155
You are quite welcome, sir. Really, I just do it because I enjoy it, but if my reviews help you, then hey, the more the merrier. I'll keep doing what I'm doing if you keep doing what you're doing!
Someone has Darksouls on the brain, perhaps excited for DSII? and the Spice and Wolf reference was nice too. Good work as always.
Yep, definitely grieving, it seems she's recovering nicely.
Keep going! ;)
>Siff
>Knight Artoria
I fucking love you.
4275939
I agree with this guy, I would say more, but I think my laptop will short circuit from tears soon.
4275939 Where in the world did you get Dark Souls outta this? Me, I got a healthy dose of Spice and Wolf. Whose main characters are a trader and Holo the Wise Wolf. Then again, I guess Siff could be the one from DS. I wouldn't know as I haven't played it... I need to though...
4274233 >mood music
Aww, what a nice story for Luna to tell :3
Good show my friend *claps* legit :)
I do wonder now, what will they do?
...uh oh...
4274755
4274755 Having played about 15 minutes of dark souls, I get that one.
4312766 Sif was buddies with Artorias in Dark Souls. Pretty sure they didn't bang, though.
I am (not) ashamed to say I fanboyed at the Spice and Wolf reference. Automatically best chapter.
Someone was playing a good bit of Dark Souls and watching some Wolf and Spice when this chapter came about
4312766 Sir Artorias the Abysswalker, one of the four Knights of Gwyn, was accompanied by the Great Grey Wolf Sif.
When facing the Chosen Undead in battle, Sif watches over the grave of Artorias and wields his sword.
Artoria and Siff... Artorias and Siff. Artorias and Cif. DARK SOULS! Oh dear lord, YEEEES! I freaking love you for making that reference. You don't see much of Dark Souls anywhere in fanfiction besides the little Giantdad, Ornstein/Smough, and Wall references. I fucking loved playing that game. Everything just felt so... I don't know. It felt like I was actually traversing through foreign lands as the Chosen Undead, beating my way through the hordes of enemies as I uncovered the lore of said lands, all the while fighting for my very humanity. I felt THERE!
It was such an amazing game, and it's always sticking with me for as long as I can remember. Especially so when me and my friend stuck our way through the entire game by each other's sides, even through all of the DLC. Two roving warriors on a quest for the kiln of the first flame, one supporting the other while the first took attention away from the second. I cannot do the game true justice with words alone.
Nice tale partially based off of Spice and Wolf unless I am mistaken
SPICE&WOLF!!!
Damn, that fairy tale was really good!

How do you like it? (Spice and Wolf)
I like the way how it looks and how the story goes great.
What do you think?
