What. Was. Dis!? Hang on! Lemme catch mah breath, Phew! Dis was hi-larious! Granted, I honestly dun think Pinkie is dat nutso but den again, who does unda'stand Pinkie Pie? Funny really, ya got all da trappin's of a mall, the clothes store, the furna'ture store excerta excerta. Muh one complaint is dat maybe ya use "cried" ta' much but really, it don' matter in da long run. Great fic. ....But is Pinkie really dat kiddy?

2926182 Yeah, I've only been to the King of Prussia mall once, but I was severely impressed. We spent most of the day there and I still don't think we saw the whole place.
I've always like taking a nice trip just to browse through a mall. I figured it would be fun to see how Pinkie Pie would react to such a trip, especially her first time there.
And Rarity was the one to bring her because I can't imagine anypony who would be more at home in a mall.

Yeah, I've grown around that mall. It's freakin' huge! It IS the largest mall in the USA by lease space.
There's always some store being built though, so if you ever visit only by occasions, it seems to change a bit.
BTW, Rock Bottom is the best restaurant there.
You captured both Pinky and Rarity to perfection. Good job. Normally I hate malls, but I couldn't help laugh at each of their antics. Excellent work.

Very entertaining. You really captured pinkie pie's essence well. The eccentric speaking, the random acting, the subtle fourth wall breaking... Absolutely perfect.

There are many fics wherein Pinkie is presented annoyingly, at least to me, and this was thankfully not one of them.
I love Rarity in any story and this didn't interrupt that trend, and I didn't find Pinkie in the least bit irritating, only entertaining which was nice.

Pinkie Pie and Rarity make such an odd pairing that it's, well, a rarity that you ever see them written well together. Their personalities don't seem to foil each other in any way, and because of that, you don't really see them together in many fanfics, much less written WELL together.
But I think you did a good job here. You seemed to have no problem bouncing their different personalities off one another, and you kept the essence of both character fairly well. Good job. I applaud you for that.
5013558 Thanks! Slice of life is my favorite type of story to write. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has great characterization, and I really like working with stuff like that and trying to see where it goes. Everyday life can become a great adventure or a hilarious comedy when it has likable characters.
Rarity takes Pinkie to the mall. The only way this could go wrong is immediately.
