Since when does Twilight Sparkle ever fail?

Twilight has successfully restored her friends' cutie marks to normal. But something still remains to be fixed.

Twilight thought that everything would be fine after she got transferred to Canterlot High, that she would be able to surpass every problem with the help of her friends, that she would be happy. She was wrong, for the new enemy was herself.

Today she woke up in pain, as every single day.

It's my birthday, and that means getting my very own motorcycle! But when the New Lunar Army attacks Ponyopolis, will me and my friends be enough to stop them? And what's that voice I keep hearing?

Twilight lives in the land of dragons with her dragon family. She is content to be surrounded by her personal library, assist her high priestess mother with her rituals, occasionally organize her high-ranking officer father's files, tutor her little brother in royal manners and sometimes hang out with the third princess.

Moondancer is princess Celestia's protégée. She loves to hole up in the Canterlot research center and eat ice cream with her friends. She is also sporadically insecure about her worth, but she knows that her friends are there to help her through. With them at her sides, she can overcome anything ; she is invincible.

Simple wedding invitations would be the things to disrupt the surfacing tranquility. Except they are not simple wedding invitations. They are entrance tickets to a sinister plot and the gateways to a war between the three empires.

This story was inspired by Twilight: The Dragon Sorceress written by Wicked DG. The premise might be very similar, but I expect my way of handling it, and by extension the end result, will be completely different.

Please note that this story was planned before Gauntlet of Fire. The elements presented in the episode will most likely be completely ignored.

I was always a fan of Friendship Is Magic almost since the beginning, and I always dreamed of being in Equestria and having adventures there. I never would have guessed that one day, that dream would come true and that I would wake up in Twilight's castle as a unicorn.

Starlight Glimmer had the perfect plan: using Star Swirl's time travel spell, erase the Sonic Rainboom and everything it did. After failing to stop her, Twilight was returned abruptly to an Equestria that bears little resemblance to her home, where the other Elements of Harmony don't even know her name.

It should've been simple then: use Star Swirl's magic to return to the past and stop Starlight from changing things. Unfortunately for Twilight, all the magic in the Cutie Map is gone. She'll have to find another way to put Equestria right, and fast. After all, the Elements didn't stop Nightmare Moon...
