Vinyl Scratch loved Octavia, really she did. She didn't mean to become so distracted by her work. She didn't mean to become so distant. She didn't mean for their relationship to dry up into the strangely distant one it was at the moment. So, on the week of their anniversary, she arranges a cruise and gets Octavia a special present.

Following the events of making his newest book and reading it in person at the bookstore, Ahuizotl relishes in the adoration and devotion of his newly found fanbase, even if he wittingly or unwittingly managed to outcompete Daring Do and Caballeron's collaborative effort that's sitting across the street from him.

One might say after hearing his side of the story that he's finally not misunderstood by others anymore. Everyone knows the real him now.

Or...do they?

Could that really have been the truth he was telling?

Ever since that embarrassing loss to Daring Do and a meddlesome pony, Ahuizotl swears to have his revenge one way or another. To draw Daring Do into one of his traps, and perhaps collect a reward as a bonus, he devises a daring scheme that involves kidnapping a group of friends. But instead of going for Twilight and the other ponies, he decides instead to kidnap something more personal... their 'pets'. It starts off easy enough, as he quickly takes all the animals into his secret hideout. But little does he realize, the job of keeping prisoners is easier said than done. Expect many twists and hilarious moments.

Just how can a simple visit to a convention go so wrong? Well, when you're Quibble Pants... A whole lot surprisingly enough. It's been 1 month since Quibble last saw Daring Do and Rainbow Dash. During said convention, he finds a suspicious stallion wearing a cloak. He decides to follow said stallion and goes on an adventure he clearly wasn't expecting...

Daring Do was in the temple of Arkaninja to obtain the treasure and bring it to another museum.

But as usual, Ahuizotl was hot on her hooves.

Unfortunately, Ahuizotl's a little smarter this time.

"Adagio say's that we should never, ever, ever, hurt each other, but Adagio doesn't seem to know anything. She doesn't know about the scars on my chest. She doesn't know what Aria and I get up to in the attic these days.

She might know, but is afraid to tell. I think it happened to Adagio too."

Deep in the forest of Equestria's West Daring Do hunts down the legendary tomb of the Bat King. And return a cursed artifact to it's rightful owner and escape Ahuizotl's attempts on her life.

This brings her to team up with Daring Do's arch nemesis, Ahuizotl, as she prepares to use The Crystal Empire as the catalyst of her latest efforts.

The year is 1547 and the Spanish have finished squashing a Maya revolt in the Yucatan. Despite defeating the rebellious natives the conquistadors efforts have proven all but futile as the natives now fight a vicious guerilla war in the jungle. The times are changing as the wealth and glory of days before no longer exists and new officials are starting to arrive to administer the conquistadors' recent exploits. With nothing left to conquer and the Crown is starting to rein in the ambitious Spanish adventurers; the Age of Conquest is coming to a close.

Meanwhile in the Forbidden Jungle, Daring Do is in a race against her nemesis Ahuizotl to search for a long lost temple. During a scuffle she and Ahuizotl are thrown through an ancient portal to the jungles of the Yucatan jungle. Not long after they are captured by a band of conquistadors and brought before the local commander. Seeing an opportunity to keep the conquests going the band of soldiers gather an expedition to cross back over into Equestria, bringing Daring Do and Ahuizotl along for the ride.

What the Spanish don’t realize is they will encounter a land they have only heard in myth filled with magic, monsters, and god like beings. Will they be able to recapture the wealth and glory of conquests before and return to tell the tale? Or will they be destroyed by powerful unknown forces and never be heard from again?
