A few months after Graves and Rarity return as an official couple, Spike wonders just what is it about Graves that made it happen. Was it his age? Was it his job as a marshal? Was it the hat? Whatever it was, Graves has no idea, so it's up to Spike to figure out just what it takes to be a man.

When Fluttershy finds a human in her backyard trying to eat one of her chickens, she and a majority of the residents of Ponyville only want this dangerous creature as far away from their town as possible.

After a less than stellar first impression, Derpy Hooves and the human struggle to quell the rumors surrounding his diet, and convince the townsfolk that he's harmless.

Will the human be able to make himself meek enough to coexist? Or will he be driven out of town with torches and pitchforks?

Each chapter is told from the perspective of a different pony.

Is there but one definition of love? Does one description of how one feels for another mean the same between Citizen and Royalty? Young and Old? Healthy and Infirm? Even between Pony and Dragon? This is what the some citizens of Ponyville will soon find out, as the supposedly felicitous tidings of the holiday and the varied and sometimes conflicting definitions of "love" are experienced through their eyes.

Anon and Applejack started dating some time ago. Due to a multitude of reasons, they attempted to keep their new relationship low-key and private. Now, they're ready to start taking it a bit more seriously, and that means revealing their feelings for each other to the rest of the Apple family.

However, Applejack has been reluctant to do so, and it's time Anon found out why. According to Apple family tradition, if Anon is to be accepted by the Apples, he must first pass the Apple Screening.
