One day when it is raining heavily outside, Twilight decides to raid Spike's comic book collection and play a while as the Power Pony, the Masked Matterhorn.

She finds herself in the story of how one of the most dangerous villains in their Rogues Gallery came to be. Spurred on by Matterhorn and molded by the Mane-iac, this new villain is unlike anypony Twilight knows how they came to be opposing her.

There are a lot of ponies in Equestria.

Like, really, a lot.

A whole lot.

So many, in fact, that it's kind of hard for everypony meets every other pony. And that's not even factoring in those who are not, in the purest technical sense, PONIES.

Which is really rather sad, because if some ponies and some other ponies actually managed to get in the same area and interact some very interesting stories could be told. But it's incredibly unlikely that that's going to happen anytime soon. It's basically improbable to the point of impossibility.

And yet, fate has decided to play a little game. Join us in watching this series of oneshots meander through the most unconventional meetings plausible!

This story is a sequel to As Flies, are We

The Power Ponies popped out of a super-early-edition enchanted comic Spike got and into the real world as he knew it. However, it was not the happy meeting he expected. Secret documents revealed that the comic the superheroes came out of was enchanted illegally, painting an ominous shadow over the comic's enchanters themselves and rocking the mares' world for the foreseeable future.

With mystery looming over the Power Ponies' very existence, the comic's heroes team up with Spike on a Manehattan-bound trip to Clockwisely HQ—the comic company behind the Power Ponies—to discover who brought them into this reality and why, all while their own world needs saving as it burns in chaos.

As they dig into the case, however, they soon realize that dark purposes are afoot.

Spike and the CMC get sucked into Power Ponies comic. Taking on the superhero roles of Hum Drum, Song Bell, Fading Bloom, and Silent Wing. Spike must teach the fillies to control their new found ability's as well as defend Maretropolis from the Diamond Tyrant and the Silver Aggressor.

In the city of Maretropolis, superheroes and supervillains aren't that uncommon. In fact, it's expected of the average resident to encounter some super-powered maniac at least once per month. Many of these villains have their reasons. Whether it's greed or to exact revenge, their motives are perfectly understandable.

Enter Pink Scorch. She has been in the anti-hero game for a while, only choosing to fight crime when she crosses paths with it. She's even had a few rundowns with villains, all of which she could relate to to some degree or another.

This newest villain, however, has her stumped. They spray juice everywhere, complain about poor dieting choices, and cause problems among taxpayers—all in the name of good health.

Her name is Juice Mare, and nothing about her makes any sense.

One moment, Starlight Glimmer was looking through Spike’s comic collection. The next, she found herself pulled into a magical comic featuring the Power Ponies! But this time, the comic has cast our hero as The Red Menace, a sometime-ally, sometime-rival of the Power Ponies, who uses the strange powers of her sentient beard to bring a tough brand of justice to the streets of Maretropolis.

When another outsider reveals herself, and Starlight is pulled into a high-stakes battle royale, the question is: can both Starlight and her adversary find a way to escape the comic world, or is it winner-take-all?

After weeks of snooping, persuasion, calling on favors, and hacking, I finally found Hasbro's top secret pilot episode script for a Power Ponies spin off show. I now present it to you converted into FanFic form.

After stealing the Power Ponies Comic Book, the Pony of Shadows uses dark magic to bring the Mane-iac out of the Power Ponie's world and into Equestria. Unable to follow, the Power Ponies decide to send Power Modules along with a copy of their Artificial Intelligence P.E.G.A.S.U.S. out into Equestria so that a new group of Power Ponies can use their powers to stop the Mane-iac.
