Friendships grow and change. That's how life works and it's usually a good thing in the end. Rainbow Dash and Rarity once saw their friendship more of a friends by association sort of thing. It was a total surprise to both of them when they realized that had changed. It took them a while to realize they'd become best friends even among their other friends. But that was still as far as it went, right?
This is the story of a growing friendship and how truly unexpected love can be.

Like all my Equestria Girls stories I'm setting this at some unknown time after the second movie where the third movie still hasn't happened, mostly because it's an easy and convenient timeline to work in.
This will be a new challenges for me as most of the story is going to take place in flash back form and keeping that specific narrative focus is going to be different.

This story is a sequel to Twilight's dream/Rainbow's nightmare

Sequel to Twilight's Dream/Rainbow's Nightmare. Twilight and Rainbow Dash have been together for a week now, but haven't been on a date yet. Because Twilight has been telling Rainbow that from her research 'couples go on a date around once a month to show that they want to learn more about each other', Rainbow gave in to Twilight and has decided to plan a date for them.
Only one problem: Rainbow has no clue what to do. This'll be fun.

Well, I finally did it! Sorry for the wait and the slightly rushed ending, but I was running out of ideas. I might go over this and Twilight's Dream/Rainbow's Nightmare in an effort to make them somewhat less rushed.

(Story idea suggested by JBlaster on FanFiction.net, think of it as a Rarity version of "Too Many Pinkie Pies". The exact timeline is vague but it takes place prior to any events in Season 9.)

Rarity finds herself facing a huge back order that pushes Carousel Boutique to the limits and drives her to madness. And the deadline is lurking just around the corner.

Deciding that she needs extra hooves to do the job, the fashionista settles on the idea to use the mirror pool and clone herself. But it isn't long before the clones take on a mind of their own and go crazy.

Luckily, Rainbow Dash is up to the task of rounding up the Rarity clones. But what she doesn't know is that these extra Rarities have their own plan in mind for the speedster, one that she will surely dread.

Sometimes, heartache is a place, and you can leave it. But more often than not, it is both point and line, and though you leave injury behind you... you perhaps never truly are free. It lingers. Rainbow Dash learns this the hard way when Spitfire gives her free tickets to a Wonderbolts show in Cloudsdale as she's recovering from a terrible injury.

Twilight doesn't understand why she can't get Dash out of her head, she thinks about her, even dreams about her, but she doesn't know why. First ever fanfic, written because I got bored one night.

Rainbow Dash finds out that asking your friends for help can lead to unexpected results. Especially if one of those friends is a party-pegasus named Pinkie.
