(Story idea suggested by JBlaster on FanFiction.net, think of it as a Rarity version of "Too Many Pinkie Pies". The exact timeline is vague but it takes place prior to any events in Season 9.)
Rarity finds herself facing a huge back order that pushes Carousel Boutique to the limits and drives her to madness. And the deadline is lurking just around the corner.
Deciding that she needs extra hooves to do the job, the fashionista settles on the idea to use the mirror pool and clone herself. But it isn't long before the clones take on a mind of their own and go crazy.
Luckily, Rainbow Dash is up to the task of rounding up the Rarity clones. But what she doesn't know is that these extra Rarities have their own plan in mind for the speedster, one that she will surely dread.
Having skimmed through it, it wasn't nearly as cringe inducing as I was expecting (I was expecting cringe not so much because of you, considering the quality of most of your work, but mostly just from the general premise)
I actually have a potential sequel idea to this, if I could suggest it?

I really liked this, it certainly made me laugh!
Great job on this one-shot. The exchanges, characterizations and general wrap-up were all well done in all the right places. I can respect the circumstances that made Rarity desperate enough to use the Mirror Pool and why Rarity thought she could keep the number of clones she created under control if she was careful. And, yeah, I REALLY love how the REAL Rarity was able to simply shame the clones into returning to the Mirror Pool WILLINGLY (even if the girls still had to hurry to save Rainbow).
Great first new story of the New Year and I'm definitely looking forward to more of this.

Rarity rescues Dash from the clones (with Dash somehow miraculously not being seen by that many ponies) and helps fix the damage. After which, she offers to do any one favor to Dash to make up for any distress they might have caused her. Dash takes her up on the offer, so the two play some kind of muddy sport that Rarity actually finds herself enjoying.
Those clones really are pale imitations of Rarity. Rainbow Dash is a fine young women as she is! But the clones can't see that. They think that the only way to be a woman, is their way.
This story was super cute I think it wouldve been funnier if RD keeps her new makeover lol
