In an alternate world of steam and gunpowder, the mysterious ruler known as Celestia is dead and the dark god Nightmare Moon has already sentenced half of Greater Everfree to the apocalypse. The future now depends on six strangers uniting before the world either falls into darkness or self-destructs.

Yet there are far greater forces at work than anyone realizes, and secrets far more terrible and destructive than any monster lie deep in the realms of eternal night. As the same power that brought the world to its knees becomes the means to fulfill the dreams of human ambition, what sort of future these six strangers will bring is called into question: a harmony of peace or a far greater cataclysm than the one currently facing the world.

A young Stallion discovers a way to create magic, without a horn. Not everypony is happy with that idea.
What will happen to Soft Touch as he digs deep into the unknown world of ancient magic, the magic of the gods.

This story will (hopefully) be reader fueled. I have tried writing things before but always got stuck. It is because I have the world built, but not the story to go with said world. The prologue is written and I'd like to see where this will lead to.

After the terrible defeat at Canterlot, the changelings have been scattered all across Equestria. And with Chrysalis dead, they are disorganized and lost. Ceras is one such changeling. She had been on the edge of Canterlot when Shining Armour unleashed his spell, so she hadn't been thrown too far. The only problem is that she is badly injured, has no clue where she is, and is still being hunted by the royal guard. But she can survive if she can find somepony to provide love for her. But who? Who would love a changeling. One lavender unicorn may provide her with that answer, provided they don't end up killing each other first.

Farengar, a simple nord warrior looking for his next job finds himself facing up against a necromancer to find a tome for his employer, but something happens and he's sent to Equestria by some unknown means, what will he do? Unbeknownst to him he holds a great power bestowed by Akatosh himself to a chosen few within him.
