But seriously, I really enjoyed this one getting fully fleshed out (que rimshot). Normally I stay very far away from zombies stories, something about a world being forever changed for the worse with no hope of reclaiming usually gets me no matter how fictional it is. But in a weird way I loved this one. Mostly because A: I can read it with the context of your shimmerverse, so it being the end of "this world" doesnt leave a bad taste in my mouth like it usually would and B: it's less about "lets try and fix this... oh no it got worse" instead it feels more like "it's gonna happen, this is how everyone is responding to it".
"Queen Ember!, the dragons have begun to be infected, somehow a pony was able to bite through our scales!"

I've seen your work floating around the site and been meaning to read some for awhile, so seeing this in the feature box was a delightful surprise!
Overall, a premium, top cut serving of toxic yuri and I loved every second of it! Actually a really sweet dynamic between Twilight and Sunset—if you ignore the extremely messy ramifications and possible implication of Sunset not being in her right mind—that I wasn't expecting from a story in this contest

I think that they're carnivores now. Yes they can eat normal meat like cows and deer, foxes and the like, but they'd prefer pony. They'd probably set up a meat industry once all the fresh meat's out
